1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you have the best ground forces in the world, it's nothing without a strong air force

However, there were some statements regarding the credit status. Russia may be unlikely to meet their credit obligations to Armenia in short term. You guys are talking about the negative effect of low prices on Azerbaijan all day, and forget that Russia is in no better position when it comes to that. Then you expect that Russia will subdue this and that when they are in a bad economical situation?
I know in your country's delusion version of reality Armenia is just a colony of Russia, that Armenia would be eradicated off the map without Russia, and that Russia won the war for Armenia...

but in 2015 while the Russian economy shrank my more than 3 percent, the Armenian economy grew by more than 3 percent. While the Ruble collapsed-again- the AMD was the strongest currency in all of the former USSR. While Russian foreign exchange reserves declined, Armenia's continued to gain.

I know in your delusional reality Armenia is somehow sustained by Russia, but we existed 3,000 years before Russia ever reached the Caucasus, and I assure you we will exist if they are ever gone. While you hinge your hopes on the faint chance that Armenia might not receive a loan that may have been used for weapons, the Armenian military budget will still grow this year, while yours was just cut by 70%.

While some 40% of the Russian budget comes through energy, 75% of the Azeri budget comes from energy. While there is no end in sight of Russian energy resources, Azerbaijan already started declining in energy production five years ago. While the average income in Russia is more than 10,000 dollars, the average income in your country is probably a third of that after the latest devaluation.

I think you need to learn a few basics of economics before you post again. And if you think your country's political leaders actually have $30 billion in reserves, but are not using it to save themselves, and are risking their own power, just for the best interest of the future country, then you'll have a few surprises coming your way.

By the way, before you ever think Russia helped Armenia in any war look up Operation Ring and Operation Goranboy. The only victories in battle for Azerbaijan was fought by the slavs.

Almost every economical activity in Armenia is tied to Russia, what's more, they recently joined a economical union, and transfers from Armenian diaspora in Russia is vital for Armenian families, which has obviously taken a big hit. So who's in delusion?

You shouldn't take everything you read claimed somewhere as a fact. Few pages back you were commenting on an article that claimed (citing some organization) there would be supposed cuts in salaries of soldiers, while in the same article you could read that this was denied by MoD, which you didn't care for of course. But you know what's funny? There has been a 10% increase last week. There is no actual information on such such a % of cut. Armenia may or may not recieve the said loan, it's really not all that significant amount as you guys and Armenian authorities make it to be.

The spending and everything else will be adjusted to new currency levels, the new budget will be more than $17 billion. It's only 1 billion less than Kazakhstan's 2016 budget.

According to the azeri MoD statements Azerbaijan have lost 19 soldiers in 2015 so numbers doesnt seem to be its strong side or maybe its the armenian army that need to practice in fire accuracy.
Considering the past military budgets of Azerbaijan doesnt show the same superiority on the ground capabilities as it do on paper it should mean that 1 dollar spent by Azerbaijan did not buy as much as 1 dollar spent by Armenia.

Azerbaijan has purchased $4-5 billion of arms from Russia alone in last few years (from 2010 onwards). And here is a source if you ask: http://www.kommersant.ru/doc/2589210

Are you saying that there has been a comparable spending by Armenia? There has been transfer of second-hand S-300 systems from Russian army stocks, delivery of a battalion (31 units) of T-72 and some BTR-70/80. Probably also some howitzer cannons such as D-30 or D-20.

Azerbaijan's purchase of Russian arms includes a broad list of various types of weaponry.

S-300PMU2, the latest of S-300P family. These are not even slightly comparable to S-300s in Armenian inventory.
Mi-35M/Mi-17. Mi-35M are vastly improved over older hinds, with modern sighting systems, use of more improved AT missiles, shorter wing & fixed landing gear, more powerfull engine and rotors of Mi-28, which greately enchantes its flight performance.
T-90S (Azerbaijani version are improved over Russian T-90A in certain aspects, a newer model of Shtora, automatic target tracking capability, AC), Azerbaijan also purchased armored bridge layers and engineering vehicles based on T-90S.
BMP-3 (with Vesna-K sighting system with thermal imager and automatic target tracking)
                BTR-82A
                TOS-1A
                Smerch
                Msta-S self-propelled howitzer, 2S31 Vena self-propelled gun/mortar system

Azerbaijan has also bought hundreds of 120mm 2S12A Sani mortars, Igla-S MANPADs & Kornet AT missiles.

There were significant contracts with other countries as well, in particular Israel, including for the needs of ground forces (artillery systems including guided rocket artillery, Spike AT missiles etc).

BTW, Azerbaijan paid nearly $500 million for 24 of them (only the cost of helicopters themselves).

No what Im saying is Azerbaijan spent tons of money on offensive weapons that look good on paper but still would not be able to win a war if it were to start one.
You seem to believe that Azerbaijan is 90% more powerful than Armenia because its budget is 10 times larger, If both countries had the same military budget Azerbaijan would dissappear in a future war.

You were saying that Azerbaijan's spending on paper haven't been reflected in reality, which is definetly not the case.

Well im sure that if the main focus of Azerbaijan wasnt killing armenians then they could have captured some territory without starting a war because Armenia have done that.
If Azerbaijan is as superior as you seem to believe why not just capture Karabakh within a couple of hours and be done with it or is it because you guys are so peace loving.
