Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I think every household in Armenia should get a free S-300s. It is like getting a blender for us.

Regarding Eddo's & Hakob's posts ... I agree and understand what eddo is saying and Hakob's post is spot on.
My opinion hasn't changed. A full upgrade is around 25 to 30 million $. For slightly under 10 mill $ we get enough. All my info says nothing less.
I sat down and talked with a Russian mig 29 pilot who now flys commercial airliners. He was harsh in his opinions of original mig 29s. Russian pilot told me the original RD33 engine used a large percentage of its power to make noise & vibration. And they smoke heavy. The RD33 series 3 have twice the lifespan and almost 1/2 the maintainence plus are more fuel efficient and they don't smoke. Also the series 3 puts out about 800 more more thrust per engine for a total of 1600 for two engine.
Also on fly by wire vs direct mechanical connection. Russian pilot told me despit loss of direct connect feel to control surfaces do to computer being in between , not one russian pilot would go back to old way. He told me the fly by wire reduced the pilot workload so much it was a big relief. Gave the pilot more concentration for other tech stuff because pilot did not have to concentrate on "fighting" the stick. Also c.ockpit modernization greatly reduced pilot workload.
The estimate of increased efficiency fore modernized mig 29 is 50% to 60% MORE efficient.
They are great planes as per above photo. A modernized mig will fly circles around aboves pic aircraft.
Third gen mig is fantastic plane. No upgrade and you got 3G mig 29 in a 4g world.
I like the plane, wish we had some, but I can't fool myself.

You reload......I got whole bunch of brass for you.

You guys think our boys in Artsakh reload or they got so much 54r ammo crates to kill that its senseless to reload.

A complicit pilot.....number one Pilot error crashes.
There is no way you be fighting the Mig 29 controls while flying. I am sure you have fast trim control that you can use to relief aerodynamic pressures imposed on the flight controls while even in high manoeuver. Now that is to Aviate to really fly the aircraft, feel its loads in turns at different speeds.
Fly by wire will trim the aircraft for you automatically and after few years of flying them if you loose the fly by wire and now fly the old way you would forget the feel of the aircraft (seat of your pants) and fall behind the aircraft, never get it trimed right blowing through altitude and headings. Same thing on auto pilot. Pilots have become so reliant on these systems that in emergency they screw up.

Imagine the Azeri faces if we flew Mig 29 with our roundel in an airshow.......how many Armenian kids will be inspired to become pilots. That is priceless.

I reload for my modified Mosin and other 5 regular ones. I have hard time finding berdan primers though.
I've got both berdan and boxer primed brass.
What primers are your brass? If it's boxer then good. They are easy to deprime and recharge with my RCBS reloader. All my berdan ones I did one batch but left for rainy day, since berdan takes longer time and more preparation.
I've got one M44 and one m91/30 both show condition. 2 ad hoc shooters and one m91/30 made in 1896 in Tula With czar's double headed eagle numbered 7xxxx. That I seldom shoot.
            Let's see 6 total. Lol.
That shows how much I love mosins.
For our guys in army, they are supplied so much and cheaply with 7.62x54r s that it's not worth reloading them.
Svd's draganovs and other scoped rifles are made to shoot factory loads good enough.
They should reload only 338lm s and other long range rounds, even though reloading helps person understand more and refine his shooting skills.

turkey builds all kinds of dams cutting water to the whole Middle East. Israel does the same .... Who stopped them?
                Total agreement .
They commit genocide, they use the upstream water they control as manipulation of downstream countries and they support terrorism (but) not one word from eu,us,etc.
We will cut that water if it's in our national security interest.
Can't remember when or where I read that the downstream countries decried the water manipulation by jerk turc. If I'm not mistaken this threat of water cutoff by turc is numerous.
They (turc) gotta boast about every incideous thing they do or want to do.
You don't have to talk to too many turcs to hear them BOAST about the genocide.
                Worthless hominoid , nothing more.

Nice collection........6 its not bad. These rifles are addictive just like AKs. You just can't have only one, you need 10 with 10000 rds ammo. People do that.

My brass will work for you.....I look around for berdan.

If I was a sniper in Karabakh I would load my own ammo made for the occasion. You do learn alot.
