Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan: Azeri Askars are preparing to be sacrificed
    September 4, 2010 - 17:18 AMT 12:18 GMT
PanARMENIAN.Net - Azeri propaganda machine has for a while been adhering to an unclever tradition of presenting own provocations on the line of contact of NKR and Azeri armed forces as “Armenia’s violation of ceasefire”, Voskanapat portal director, political expert Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan believes.

As he noted, each one in 3 recent incidents of diversion ended in the deaths of young Azeri soldiers, whose bodies remained on the territory controlled by NKR defense army. “And every time the Azeri side maintains that Armenian soldiers attacked its main base. One is almost induced to believe that Azeri Askars are preparing to be sacrificed.”

“The third failed attack signals Baku’s determination to continue with diversions until its dream of seizing an Armenian soldier comes true. Azerbaijan has clearly set itself the task of spreading false information through Armenian military hostages,” the Armenian expert believes.

apparently the reason for todays incident was to take an Armenian hostage. The Artsakh defense minister said the soldiers had handcuffs with them.

also about flags here is a good article

        Footcloths of the flag
Ilham Aliyev has a new, unknown to medicine, illness - flagomaniya, or, if scientifically - vexillumania. I suspect that until doctors examine the origins of the disease and find a medicine for treatment, ponavtykaet Aliyev in Azerbaijan, a huge lot of flags, banners, flags and flags. And, it seems, not only in Azerbaijan. Experience in this case he has accumulated a great deal, you just have to recall that Ilham Aliyev is 7862-fold, without regard to books magazines and other printed materials, immortalized his dad in the monuments, memorials, busts, bas-relief and high relief. Including: Monument - 2 sites - 7790, high reliefs - 50 and bas-reliefs - 20. Within the Republic of Azerbaijan - 7811, outside - 51.

Stuffed hands (and pockets) on the monuments of a "national leader" of Azerbaijan, Aliyev junior megaloman took the flags. It has long been an option for the regrettable fact that somewhere in the world flying the flag larger than in his own room. It was necessary to study or to expand and lengthen, or flag in a new place to plant. In addressing this dilemma, a good Aliyev showed a fatherly concern for the population of Azerbaijan: he decided to build a tall flagpole and hang a flag the size of a football stadium named after T. Bahramov. "Every Azerbaijani, on the rare ministers to numerous beggars, should see and be proud of our flag," - said the president of Azerbaijan, and signed a decree on the early construction of the world's tallest flagpole and the largest flag.

It happened this historic event on Nov. 17, 2007. And immediately began an ambitious construction, comparable in scale (so that there is comparable? Superior), the world's largest construction projects: an artificial reef "Palm" in Dubai, Chinese wall, devoid of Aliyev epithet 'great' and the Pyramids of Egypt, that look with envy at the bottom-up new phallic symbol of Azerbaijan.

To flag constructed area of 60 hectares, the square - the pedestal, too nehily - 3 hectares. The pedestal is training and educational in nature, it erected a flagpole. On the pedestal the same emblem and anthem of the Azerbaijan Republic. And a map of the Azerbaijan SSR. However, never belonged to Azerbaijan Artsakh.

In late October last year, lands designated for the area for the construction of the flag, opened. Precisely in that place, where Azerbaijan was pririsovan Artsakh, every day more and more increasing, creeping cracks. Artsakh, spit on plans Aliyev made his own corrections to the map. The newspaper Musavat then with a mystical horror wrote: "under construction in the area of Baku Bailskom area of the state flag of Azerbaijan collapsed. They did not understand then Muscavatists thick-headed that no area is collapsing, and ambitions of Azerbaijan and its president - a rogue.

But Aliyev nevertheless continued the construction area for the flag, allocating another 13 million dollars. The cracks between Artsakh and Azerbaijan poured concrete, wittily reminding everyone of the existing border between the two countries. And they now have with the American company «Trident Support» erect flagpole. Highest in the world. And also sew a flag. Naturally, the biggest in the world. After all this hectic activity, the evening of 1 September, Aliyev has organized a grandiose opening of the area and raising the flag.

The most far-sighted people have noticed that the opening of the area occurred on the eve of Independence Day of the Republic of Artsakh, which has given them depressed: not to good, oh, not to good. But Aliyev did not notice. The Azerbaijani President said a long speech, during which he, at the same time, running eyes, gesticulating muscles, and his nose was waving in the wind better than the flag. Aliev told the audience that an area will operate the museum of the flag, and the flag itself will definitely fly in Stepanakert, Shushi, and even Khodjalu.

The latter, it must be said, did not like my friend Shavarsh Kocharian, who did not fail to notice that "Azerbaijan has a unique opportunity to have a flag in Stepanakert - is to recognize Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, and open an embassy there." With all due respect to S. Kocharian, I want to announce that the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia in this case is not right. In Stepanakert, the flags of Azerbaijan, however, the trophy there. And even in very large quantities. They are stored in the basement of the Ministry of Defence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. During the Artsakh war escaping from Artsakh Azerbaijan Asker first get rid of this unnecessary ballast. And although it did not help them escape, the fact remains that, after each successive collision Collection Azeri flags in Artsakh is enriched by several exhibits.

Here, wrote "exhibits" and thought: Hear, Aliyev, Azerbaijani flag museum is already in Stepanakert. They collected Azerbaijani flags for every taste: torn, very torn, silk, cambric, velvet, etc. There is a stack of unused flags of Azerbaijan, absolutely brand new, they have not even flies do not mate. You Aliev, yet think about it, but I will come back to the story of the Baku area flag. Although, actually, my story has come to an end.

Early on the morning of 3 September the world's largest flag "descended from" the highest flagpole in the world. The flag was torn to shreds, though courageous Azerbaijan Asker fled with him from most of Artsakh, with huge, as a consequence of the Armenian missile hole in the top band. Caspian wind for 35 hours tore 350 pound symbol of Azerbaijan, for every hour of making the new 10 kilograms Azerbaijani flag in the leg wrappings.

Now, a phallic symbol of Azerbaijan useless sticks out of the womb Baku. You do not know, my friends, what it is now possible to use? For example, I only recall the anecdote about the hussars. But it already was. So, share please plans. I promise to send them to their destination.

        Sagatel BAKVESHINYAN

PS According to Azerbaijani media, construction of a new space for the Azerbaijani flag Talysh city Ostoro. Sami Talishs sure that this building is designed, intended, Baku
confirm the power of Azerbaijan occupied by the Turks Transcaucasian homeland Talyshs.
The height of the flagpole in Ostoro provided in the 65 meters.

Those idiots do not know that flags that big (or even much less the size of that) need holes in them so it can withstand the pressure and not rip apart. They also might need to put a special coat of thicker material on the edge of the flag.

Oh well, it's always lovely to see their flag ripped apart in their own capital, and not by Armenians but by Mother Nature

I did not know Aladdin was an Azeri I guess with a friend like Abu, it makes sense.

These names are just the ones that they have confirmed and they include today's two losses. According to our press, they might have lost more. Pretty soon, more Azeris will turn up dead due to accidental shootings, electrocutions, drownings, snake bites and spontanious human combustions.
