Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

The reality is, whoever is at the table will be negotiating with Armenians. Ya, somebody(s) going to have tough negotiation.
Our position is firm and unwavering .
Negotiate that and the outcome is the same. Artsahk is free from the turc bloodlust and thievery.
We won. That's not negotiable.
Sinai was a headache for Israel, Vast desert, hard to protect and mainly unusable. They used it as a bargaining tool. We can't use any territory as a bargaining tool. Btw Israel Counter-attacked, regained all the territory, then continued its attack and passed the Suez canal and started moving towards central Egypt mainly Suez City.
Egypt didn't force Israel to negotiate, on the contrary.
If we need to learn one thing from Yum kippur is that we need to hurt the Azeris badly, and then negotiate.Last edited by Zeytun; 04-11-2016, 03:53 PM.

Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: A soldier's view from the frontline
A BBC team visits one of the artillery positions of the Karabakh Army in their conflict against Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan returned the bodies of 18 Armenian servicemen killed in combat last week along the frontline with its breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh region.
The unresolved conflict over Karabakh dates back to the early 1990s when ethnic Armenians living there sought secession from Azerbaijan.
A BBC team visited one of the artillery positions of the Karabakh Army and spoke to the soldiers there

Azerbaijan-based source claims that from May 12, 1994 to April 7, 2016, Azerbaijan has 785 soldiers and 30+ civilians killed, 850+ soldiers and 70+ civilians wounded and 30+ soldiers captured of which 5 were sent to 3rd countries and the rest returned to Azerbaijan.

In fact during the first years after 1994, the mortality rate was much higher among the enemy, and our troops, compared to let's say 2010-2014 period, on average.
In fact the losses were largely unreported, or underreported from both sides, but major incidents did happen, with no use of big teknika.
We for instance did loose major hilltops in Tavush, they in Mrav front.
Other than that big part of losses were due to hazing, interpersonal fights, in their case interacial....
Anyway, I need to make some research to find it, but from memory, the total losses in peace time, after 1994 and may be 2008-2010?? ( I do not remember the year this article was published, summing peace time losses) were something like 5000 for azerbaijan, back then, and something around 700 for us??
Numbers need to be checked, but anyway it was something like 5000, and all this before the beginning of the diversion operations on large scale and repeated way by Ilhamig.

Vardan Voskanian

I have a question for Vrej or everyone else who would know really: what's the situation like in the border east of Sevan? How fortified are our positions and how often are there skirmishes and how come we never hear about it? Is it because the terrain is simply too rough? Because the terrain is mountainous in Tavush and yet we have regular fire exchange.
And the main thing I wanted to know: in the case of an all out war on multiple fronts, with nothing off limits, is there any threat of an Azeri invasion with the aim of taking that strip of land, and aiming to establish control over Sevan, given we have no Navy?
Is it even physically possible or is there a reason that threat has never been discussed?

Guys, guys guys......I cannot believe we are letting them get away from this stunt they pulled out.......I see no happiness in it, these cut throat animals with war crimes as soon as they get the chance. We must never forget Fascist Graywolfs will always be our mortal enemy. They are too hav to face us in battlefield. They like to go after civilians, young old man women and drag our fighters with rope in front of Ataturk statue, their God.
We have talked about this same war scenario many time before in this threat with some great inputs by members and there was great doubt that Azeri Turks and forced Azeri minority could break the line of contact, even say they got in but it will not for too long, I am not happy at all (not that anyone cares) and I expected a much stronger response from our military leaders.
With that said it was amazing how our boys defended our lands with such bravery, honor, dedication, duty, and the mind set that we will never surrender and if captured we continue to fight or escape.
