We can't let this happen, we need to win as many Muslim friends as possible. Religion should be cast aside as much as possible in the context of this purely ethnic/territorial war.

Yep. When they can't win by themselves, they use the religion card. All we need with us is Iran. The rest is irrelevant.

One big mistake in the posting: Lala Tepe is only about 100 meters from the original Azeri lines

True. The rest of the Muslim world is against us anyway besides Iran. Armenia should cultivate relations with China, Iran. Despite their cozying up to Israel, the animosity toward Turkey and by extension Azerbaijan is increasing.

As long as the Turkish fascist gov is doing what is doing, in Syria, Iraq, against kurds, and being allied with Wahhabis, ISIS, and saudia Arabia etc., Iran will naturally be on our side, if not our side, then at least neutral.

For the past five days, rural residents in Armenia’s provinces of Shirak and in the town of Gyumri have been collecting tires to be used to strengthen the frontline fortifications in Artsakh.

As of yesterday, some 15,000 tires, in all sizes, have been collected.

Arsen Vardanyan. one of the originators of the continuing tire drive, said they started in Gyumri and that the villages joined in soon after.

“Community mayors, members of village councils and ordinary people started bringing in their tires. They even brought in their spare tire,” said Vardanyan.

Getting the tires to Artsakh is another problem faced by Vardanyan and his colleagues. After combing the province, they only located a truck or two.

I hope the Kurds/PKK keep killing them.

so did the article mean that ALL the downed UAVs were by manpads? I find that hard to believe. I get that it's more expensive and difficult for anti-aircraft to do that, but that would mean really good eyes on the skies all the time. even in the night, which is impossible.
