Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

A nice reminder of our Nuclear bomb:

Within the context of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, scholars and politicians have speculated the possibility of the Mingachevir reservoir being used as a military target by Armenian forces in case of another war. Russian ethnographer Sergey Arutyunov stated in a 2010 interview:

I will not disclose a military secret—this has been openly admitted in Armenia's general staff—that Armenian or NKR artillery batteries, stationed at the top of Karabakh mountains, are 40 kilometers away from the Mingachevir reservoir. One strike and central Azerbaijan will turn into a sea. [ Wikipedia]

From a Hetq Article published on the 16th of August 2010.

Actual distance from Talish to the dam is around 52km

They did so not because of their leaders (whether it was LTP or now with Sargysyan) but in spite of them. They do so because Armenians/Armenia/NKR is fighting for its very survival and Armenians will never let themselves be slaughtered again. Armenians are tough, resilient, creative, and I believe here to stay. Armenians have lost too much for centuries and will not give anymore. This is not a dream but reality.
By any chance did you get to read the article? I think this Azeri assault on Artsakh is awakening once again the true Armenian people who are looking to make their home a better place. The azergays might have just re Kickstarted the anti corruption movement in Armenia. The sacking of 3 military pigs, who are parasites among us, proves that serjik might indeed be seeing the light himself.

I hate to politicize this, but this is real. If our people in Armenia and the diaspora can do more to protect our culture than the Armenian state, then it is evident some house cleaning is needed.

6 million of us in the diaspora. $100 from each of us a year for 5 years can upgrade Armenia in a way that can put us on the trajectory for a stronger homeland. As we fight the Azeris externally, we should fight the domestic enemies internally.

The days of the Soviet generals and their dachas in the country side are over. No longer to continue that legacy. We need engineers, doctors, soldiers, and statesmen. Not parasites!

That would be a war crime. We are above that. As a last resort if they bomb Artsakh homes or armenia, but never offensively.

It is impossible to build a train track before and after the Iranian city of Nordooz. They need a 5Km of tunnels in the mountains. Across from Araksashen is 2Km of impossible terrain. 1KM by the lake. They will have to dig around 8Km in the mountains plus the regular 150KM tracks in rough terrains. Good luck!

It seams turkey is enjoying its benefits of "war crimes" so is the US with its "Nuclear bombs" on Japan. We are not above that! We will do what it will take to survive. A reminder, we are living on 1/10 of our original territories and lost millions of our people. Did you mention "War crimes?" We want to live in peace with perpetual closed borders. Can they?

I agree with you. After the Azeris are dealt with their will be a reckoning. The oligarchs and corrupt officials are as much the enemy as the Turks/Azeris. Perhaps in the early years of independence, one or two of the oligarchs had a purpose (getting much needed goods, material, equipment and/or to facilitate relations with needed allies in Moscow such as Pavel Grachev) but those days are over and their days are numbered.

Hitting the damn is reserved if the Azeris hit Stepanakert. If the Azeris escalate this, there will be a myriad of good and easy targets.

                    There is no such plan.
They are not linking Horadiz to Votashad or Jugha, via Iranian territory.
That's a mega project, Iran would not discuss it anyway.

The link is in Talishostan. Linking Azari and Iranian Talishostans, Lenkoran-Astara, along caspian shore.

As a people who have suffered genocide, I think we should be examplary in preventing it. Look how people treat Israel today. A people suffered hollovsust only to institute concentration camps. We should not have the same parallel drawn on us. We can win them militarily, economically, politically. But bombing homes should be out of the question. Just my two cents
