- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)

- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

  • Re: Nagorno-Karabagh: Military Balance Between Armenia & Azerbaijan

The iskanders are in Yerevan because Russia started to realise that it was loosing Armenia. The collapse of government was on sight.
And I will not be exaggerating or being off mark if I say we have to thank the actions of Sasna Tsrer in some degree. They created the atmosphere, enough to force some actions by Serj government and Moscow.
Now we all have to make sure to show to Srjik that he cannot take credit for iskanders or anything else. His click has robbed so much money from Armenia that it would be enough in buying all the weapons we needed.
Instead of favor from Moscow. It could have been just purchase. This iskanders have become a big political propaganda tool to be used by our corrupt government. Instead they should remain only as military factors.
Moscow has learned to except internal social oppositions existence and maybe even power change, as long as it is not pro western.
Sadly, still, even today in Sasna Tsrer support rallies, you hear the name of Europe and Moscow being mixed by some leaders.
We have an internal struggle to do. That's all. Fight against corruption. And make sure that pro western propaganda is never spilled in in poisoning it.

The appearance of Iskanders shows to the world and specially to Turks that Russia stands with Armenia and will not let it to be run over.
More importantly, and because of latest Sasna Tsrer developments and threat of government collapse under armed conflict, to ease Armenian public's anti government and anti Russian feelings in showing that Russia truly our ally and Serjik's government is capable in protecting Armenia's and Artsakh's integrity.
But I cannot also forget mr Alexander Dugin's (who is the architect of modern Russian political philosophy, which is shared and practiced by Putin) very recent comments in his televised program in which he declared "Armenians have nowhere to go but to accept our protection. But Azerbaijan is also our historic and geopolitical ally. Russia will do everything in bringing Azerbaijan into the family of nations that it leads, and if necessary, and some land concessions are needed in order to solve Karabakh conflict, Armenians have to accept it ant step aside, without making any trouble".
      You see?
We must change our government and bring socially just but also nationalist government that can build national unity, along with economic growth and power, thus making land exchange or new war a very expensive prospect for perpetrators and stall bad developments.
But current government, however patriotic they try to show themselfs, is more about money and power than national idealism. It will submit to any wish of Moscow because Kremlin is the guarantor of it's power.
I bet, mr Dugin would not develop his philosophy about Artsakh and us the way he has, if he knew that our government has the will to resist because it's roots are national philosophy.
Unlike how Dugin presents, Russia's positions are not as powerful and absolute as they want to show. Economically and regionally as well. There is a large anti Russian sentiment in every nation it considers under controll. And as such, Russian dominoes can also fall easily at any time if conditions arise.
We need a government that positions Armenia in such a way that if Artsakh is touched, irreversible an painfull events can happen that can derail kremlins plans totally, plus threaten it's influence in Caucasus. Sort of blackmail type. But we need a government to be up to it. Not to bring some Iskander and green as to "you see we are doing something". Because the frontline Is dangerous, right, but the main danger in changing the status quo against us comes from north.
Last time, in April,a bunch of 18 year olds derailed a Russian plan with their lives. And in July, Pavlic Manukian and his friends pulled a check to Russia and serjik. This is where those Iskanders come from. It is not that hard.

We just need the right government to kill any land exchange idea. Russia will accept it and go look elsewhere for a carrot for Azeris. It too, like us, has no choice but to hold on to Armenia first before wishing about Azerbaijan.

And also in all this, whoever utters the name of Europe or west, is 100% traitor. Not with Armenian people.

Airbus starts purchasing laser optics from Armenia

            Theme: Innovations

YEREVAN. - Airbus has started purchasing laser optics from Armenia.

General Director of joint Greek-Armenian company LT-Pyrkal, Gagik Buniatyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am that since 2015 the French company purchased trial consignments and then began acquiring them regularly.

The French took interest in laser excitation cameras – devices, where light emitting diodes accumulate light and then transfer it to the sapphire crystal, which radiates laser after getting enough power.

The company manufactures optical laser systems based on synthetic sapphires. Sapphires used to be cultivates in Armenia, but their manufacturing was stopped some time ago. “We hope that it will be resumed, since we were always satisfied with the local raw material,'' Buniatyan said.

The company' s devices are exported to Europe and U.S., as well as India, China, Korea, Japan and, in small quantities, to Russia. In the recent years, the demand for solid laser components produced by the company has been growing.

''The laser technology market proved to be resistant to the fluctuations of the economy during the recent years. Apart from this, there are no Chinese companies here yet and thus there is no strong pressure in price issues,'' Buniatyan said.

Do you realize that Dugin is doing exactly what you want the Armenian leaders to do? I think the idea of land for peace died with the last mini-war. I do agree that many of our problems have been and continue to be internal but outside factors are glaringly undeniable as well. We should indeed do our best at least regarding the matters that we can control. This is why I have been blasting this governments domestic screw-ups.

It is up to us to kill it! Why on earth would Dugin do that for us? He is doing exactly what you would want the Armenian leaders to do for Armenia (pursue her own interests). We should use some of these lovely weapons on our enemy to force a peace deal on our terms but I believe there are regional events going on now that we need to consider as our whole neighborhood is up in flames at the moment.

One thing is abvious to even a child. You won't find any Dugins in serje's government. In order to have someone in charge that can take us in opposition of Russian Dugins and be our national political philosophy Doctor, we need to replace the government. Iskanders or not.
We have to have government that tries everything in bringing Armenian/Russian relationship from servant/muster relationship to equal partners platform. This will make that relationship more meaningful and strong.
But that leadership has to have only national ideas in focus. Not self fullfilment and money grab.
