ՌԴ Ռազմաօդային ուժերը ծրագրում են զանգվածային կերպով արդիականացնել Су-25-երի ողջ զինանոցը և մինչև 2020թ. ունենալ նոր հեռանկարային գրոհիչ ինքնաթիռ: Ներկա պահին ՌԴ ԶՈՒ-ն արդիականացրել են ավելի քան 30 հատ Су-25 և մինչև 2020թ. նպատակ ունեն շուրջ 80 մեքենա արդիականացնել մինչև Су-25СМ տարբերակի: Այս մասին հայտնել է ՌԴ ՊՆ գնդապետ Վլադիմիր Դրիկը:
«Су-25СМ-ը Су-25-ից տարբերվում է զինման լայն հնարավորությամբ: Արդիականացումը վերաբերում է կապի համակարգին, ռադիոլոկացիոն սարքավորմանը և նշանանավիգացիոն համակարգին: Ինքնաթիռի «կյանքի ժամկետը» երկարելու է երկու, իսկ արդյունավետությունը` 4 անգամ»,- հայտնել է Դրիկը:
Նա նաև հավելել է, որ նոր հեռանկարային գրոհիչը ՌԴ ՌՕՈՒ կմատակարարվի 2020-ական թվականներին:
Су-25СМ-ի հիմքի վրա ստեղծված նոր ինքնաթիռն ի զորու կլինի օգտագործել նախորդի ողջ կարողությունները: Բացի վերոնշյալ հնարավորություններից` նոր ինքնաթիռը օժտված կլինի քիչ տեսանելիությամբ և կարող է վայրէջք կատարել ցանկացած թռիչքուղու վրա:Comment

Ties with anti-Iranian forces beneficial but not safe for Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - In case of escalation of tensions in the region due to Iran’s nuclear program, Azerbaijan may address NATO to ensure security at border with Iran, Azerbaijani military expert said.
As Jasur Sumerinli noted, request for NATO assistance “meets the protocols ratified by Azerbaijan in the framework of the United Nations, as well as documents of cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO,” SalamNews reports.
Apparently, NATO won’t protect Azeri borders due to mere “friendly intentions.” Border security is likely to be implemented in exchange for use of Azerbaijani territories as a springboard for attacking Iran. Baku doesn’t seem to oppose it due to recent deterioration of Azerbaijani-Iranian ties.
“Latest developments - current situation between official Baku and Tehran, statements by embassies of Israel, U.S. and Great Britain on security, spark a need to shift to enhanced cooperation between Azerbaijan and international organizations aimed at ensuring border security,” Sumerinli stated.
Close cooperation with anti-Iranian forces currently looks quite beneficial for Azerbaijan whish may be used as a cover for launching a war against Nagorno Karabakh and ceasing Iran’s northern region, “Southern Azerbaijan”.
Back in 2010, according to several media outlets, U.S. and Israeli armed forces were centered in Azerbaijani air force bases, ready to launch an offensive on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Moreover, Israel and the U.S. were said to have established an electronic surveillance base in Azerbaijan to follow developments in Iran. Prior to this, Azerbaijani parliament approved a new military doctrine allowing for deployment of foreign military bases in the country’s territory.
However, earlier IRGC Deputy Commander Hossein Salami said that Iranian armed forces will resort to retaliatory measures towards any state from the territory of which military strike on Iran is launched.
According to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Iran needs only 9 minutes to destroy Israel. What about Azerbaijan?

NKR defense army spokesman: Artsakh army need not worry

PanARMENIAN.Net - Defense army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic carries out its duty along the whole contact line in the routine regime, the army spokesman said.
“Azerbaijani armed forces, as well as the NKR defense army organize regular exercises to enhance their alertness,” Senor Hasratyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, when commenting on the launch of large-scale exercise of Azerbaijani armed forces in the front-line zone.
The statement disseminated by Azerbaijan’s defense ministry on February 20 says the Azerbaijani army started its regular large-scale exercise in the front-line zone.
The maneuvers bringing together the land forces and military aviation are conducted under the command of Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev.Comment

Թեթրը գրում է, որ իր ունեցած հավաստի տվյալներով, ցավոք, գինվորի մահացության մի նոր դեպք է գրանցվել, ինչը դեռեւս պաշտոնապես չի հայտարարվում: «Ստեփանակերտի մոտ գտնվող զորամասերից մեկում թոքաբորբով հիվանդացել է միանգամից մի քանի զինվոր: Նրանցից 19-ամյա Նարեկը տեղափոխվել է Երեւանի զինվորական հոսպիտալ, սակայն երկու օր անց մահացել է»,- գրում է «Հայացք»-ը:Comment

Armenian peacekeepers withdrawn from Kosovo

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 21, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian subdivision implementing peacekeeping mission in Kosovo has been withdrawn temporarily. Spokesperson for the Defense Minister Davit Karapetyan told Armenpress the issue on continuation of the mission of Armenian peacekeepers in Kosovo in the staff of the armed forces of the other state is being discussed. "As a result of the reduction of Greek subdivisions in Kosovo a decision has been made to withdraw the Armenian subdivision temporarily. As far as no political decision has been made over continuation of the peacekeeping mission in the staff of armed forces of other state, the Armenian peacekeepers are in Armenia," Davit Karapetyan said.
Armenia has started participating in the international peacekeeping missions since 2004.Comment

Երեւանում ՀԱՊԿ-ի ուսումնավարժանքներին նախապատրաստվելու համար շտաբային բանակցություններ կանցկացվեն

Հայաստանում մարտին շտաբային բանակցություններ կսկսվեն ՀԱՊԿ-ի Արագ արձագանքման համատեղ ուժերի (ԱԱՀՈՒ) ուսումնավարժանքներին նախապատրաստվելու համար: Այս մասին փետրվարի 21-ին տեղի ունեցած Մոսկվա-Աստանա-Մինսկ-Կիեւ-Քիշինեւ հեռուստակամուրջի ժամանակ հայտարարել է ՀԱՊԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Նիկոլայ Բորդյուժան:
Նրա խոսքով` շտաբային բանակցությունները կանցկացվեն փետրվարի 27-ին, իսկ ուսումնավարժանքները տեղի կունենան աշնանը Հայաստանի տարածքում: Հանդիպման ընթացքում կմշակվեն ուսումնավարժանքների մանրամասները:
«Հուսով եմ, որ ԱԱՀՈՒ-ի մասին համաձայնագիր ստորագրած բոլոր երկրները կմասնակցեն ուսումնավարժանքներին», - նշել է Նիկոլայ Բորդյուժան:Comment
