I'm not sure but a lot of Armenians from Iran moved to Armenia in 30's and 40's and they also moved to the bigger cities from economical and other reasons. The second part is an assumption.

Oh well, it MUST be true, the voice of God speaks through that "genocide map".

The reality is that the genocide of Armenian Christians actually began in 1914, inside Persian territory, territory that had been captured by Turkish forces and Kurdish irregulars. But that disagrees with the over-simplistic and often propagandistic official histories. In this case I mean both Armenian, Turkish, Kurdish, Russian, and Iranian histories. Most of the killing took place in and around Urmia. I don't know about Tabriz, hence my question "What happened here during 1914?".

Whoa, its getting thick in here (as is always the case when someone praises Russia, Iran, Iraq, the US, or Turkey too much). First, many Persians and Kurds can tell you otherwise, but at least it wasn't because of the government...but during the hard times, there was definitely cultural wars which meant difficulties for Armenian Christian minorities. Some of you Farsi speakers should go ask older Persians what Armenians were known for...I've had quite a few admit that they used to just take their sheep/property from them because they were easily intimidated.

Also, Armenian (political) involvement in their internal affairs has been good and bad. Wherever they had problems, and Armenians took sides, we were also hated for taking sides.

Again, overall the government never targeted Armenians that I know of, but our participation (as an ethnicity) in their nationalistic events has made us victims of xenophobia there as with Russia, Turkey, the US and everywhere else.

I said this before but I'll say it again to Parskahay as well. The ARF Tashnagtsutyun helped the father of Shah of Iran to his throne, so we had a good rapport with both kings of Iran. After the Genocide, the king of Iran showed his appreciation to the Armenians that way by taking a lot of Armenians in and saving them. The good part is that we have very good relations with them to this day and they are our only very good neighbours.

Bell and Lucin, lets not start another fight in this thread. Bell is making some valid points, and I'd like to see them answered.

Beneath the conventional story we Armenians like to live with on this forum, there are questions that are yet to be answered. Even though I'm not paranoid about Azaris in Iran today, I'd like to know more about Azari activities during the genocide and in 1946.

so please i need someone who can help me about this matter to end my wonder
And where else, except Tabriz? It's a bit like saying "Armenians can live easily in biggest city of turks in Turkey (Istanbul) and even having their own churches". It means nothing. What has happened to the rest of the Armenain population, to those in the smaller towns and the villages? What happened here during 1914? What happened in 1946 during the Soviet-backed republic of Iranian Azerbaijan? A lot of vested interests (including Turkish, Iranian, Armenian, Islamic, Christian) would like to whitewash the history of this region.

Wow, that's a big sentence. It starts off with an affirmation and ends sounding like a question.
