Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

    2. Iran has 150 churches, a seat reserved in its government for Armenian-Iranians (remember we are brothers); and Iranians openly holds educational seminars that show that Armenians were wrongly killed by the Turks.

    3. There are two types of Azaris: (a) Persian-Azaris (who are not Turks and are Aryans like the Armenians) and (b)Turkic-Azaris who are pan-turkist xxxxxxxs who are trying to screw over Armenian and Iran. I hope Armenians understand this.)

    4. The Iranian People 100% recognize the genocide: My best friends in Iran were Iranian-Armenians. The Armenian Church in Iran gets money from the government of Iran; and when I was a kid I would go to my Armenian friends houses for Christmas.

    5. After Russia took over a part of Persia (which included the Kingdom of Armenia and parts of northern Iran, the Turks, Zionists, and Russians tried to "Turkify" the people in those stolen lands. Why? Because the Persian empire, which included our Aryan Armenian brothers, was one of the strongest empires in history.) The Turks even stole the name Azerbaijan from the Persians to create a fake country.

    6. I can recommend a good website for understanding the Persian-Azari / Turkic-Azari difference (see below) -- the bottom-line is that Turkic-Azaris are either imposters or brainwashed Persians who the KGB, Turks and Zionists tried to strip of their Persian/Aryan identity. (Remember Talysh, Lors, Kurds, etc. are Iranian tribes - The Republic of Azerbaijan is trying to turn them into "Turks" -- The Republic of Azerbaijan also sends these Persian people into its army in the hopes that they will die in battle and so the Turks can fully take control.)

PERSIAN WEBSITES DETAIL THE ATTEMPT TO TURKIFY ARRAN (Armenian & Iranian Lands) -- see below:

I know about those differences that your are talking about and I know about Iran, but my question is if so many people openly recognise Genocide, and Iran isn't that great with Turkey/Azerbaijan why doesn't government recognise Genocide?? Has your government even debated ever about recognising Genocide? I mean even Israel's Knesset has been in such considerations and they are best friends with Turks. (though not that much anymore).

Second, don't bad mouth Russians, they are our closest friends now and without them Turks would have invaded all of armenia and eliminated all of us. They are our historic allies and we stand beside them in military, history, and culture.

The #1 enemy of Armenia is Israel - The Republic of Azerbaijan is being propped-up by the U.S. and Israel. Aliyev is a Zionist. http://iranianazeri.blogspot.com/b/p...7097&type=POST The Russians realize they made a mistake -- the Russians I'm speaking about are Stalin and the Crypto-xxxs (Khazars) that have caused so much trouble for Armenia.

Mos, do you know how many AG memorials there are in Iran? Don't confuse political stands with people of Iran. I know, it is hypocracy but Tehran does have relations with Ankara and good relations is in the interest of Iran who is being isolated. However one thing about this Iranian regime is that they do not allow bullcrap to distort historical realities.

          recent example:

TEHRAN, Iran -- Vice-President Hamid Baghaei on Sunday (August 29th) denied making comments about the 1915 killing of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire. "We are rejecting the news reports attributed to me in some media outlets," Baghaei said. His comments came after Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu demanded a personal explanation from the Iranian official, who was quoted as saying last week that "a hundred years ago, the Ottoman Empire committed genocide against a certain number of Armenians." Shortly after that, the Iranian Embassy in Ankara issued a statement explaining that Baghaei's words were wrongly reflected by some media. (Anadolu news agency, Hurriyet - 29/08/10)
Persians are one of our best friends regardless of crap like this.

Our number one enemy is Azerbaijan, followed by Turks, and also Pakistan. We don't trust Israel naturally because they've been arming Azeris, and used to be close friends with Turks, but wouldn't go as far as to say they are our number 1 enemies. Russians also have been arming Azeris along with any other country that wants to take advantage and get on Azeris good side (because of their resources of course).

I'm not denying they are good friends with us, I just don't understand why there hasn't been any significant push there to recognise genocide, as one would expect friends to support their friends, as this is a big issue for us.

Eddo211, yes thank you; it's true that Persians and Armenians are best of friends. (Note: Persians and Armenians intermarried for several thousand years. The entire nobilities of ancient Persia and Armenia intermarried. For example, ever heard of Sahak Parthev? They call him Parthev because he was Parthian which is ancient Persian tribe.)

If you want to piss off the Turks, just celebrate the Persian New Year (a secular holiday dating back to the times of Zoroastrianism marking the first day of Spring) -- See the Persian Armenians below enjoying Nowruz.

I have great respect for Persians and there culture and have never met a Persian who I did not get along with. I hope to be able to travel there someday when all the madness between the US and Iran normalizes---The US policy vis a vis the Gulf and Middle East is foolish at best. We have common cultures and common enemies with the Persians. I feel the same way about the Hellenes (though they may be ancient enemies of the Persians, though I don't believe any animosity exists today between Greeks and Persians. After all, we all have the same enemies, primarily the Turks.

No matter what, I would say the #1 enemy of Armenians is the Turks fullstop.
