Pakistanis can be described as 'Moslem Indians'. They have supported Azerbaijan because of Islamic solidarity (and ignorance). We should note that Turkey and India have developed closer relations in recent years. For Turkey, India has much more to offer than Pakistan by way of economic cooperation and trade.

Turkey offered only $10 million for disaster relief in Pakistan.

Western world has been more generous than Islamic countries. Pakistanis are still waiting for over 50% of aid promised......with opportunist Turkey milking it for all it can for its political image.

BTW, they sometimes come across more bloodthirsty in their words than Turks but they stall out quicker.

Most Pakestanis have openly admitted that they would gladly pickup arms and help Turks/Azeris destroy Armenians (actually to my face).....the connection is mostly due to Muslim brotherhood than anything else.

Most Pakestanis have openly admitted that they would gladly pickup arms and help Turks/Azeris destroy Armenians (actually to my face).....the connection is mostly due to Muslim brotherhood than anything else.

Agree. Armenia needs to expand relations in all spheres with India. India is a growing power with a lot to offer. Furthermore, we are both enemies of Pakistan.

India is a great ally because Turkey and Azerbaijan are close allies to Pakistan, so they don't give a xxxx what they think. And of course India is a rising superpower with a billion people.

Agree. Armenia needs to expand relations in all spheres with India. India is a growing power with a lot to offer. Furthermore, we are both enemies of Pakistan.

2011 թվականին Հայաստանում նախատեսվում է բացել Հայ-հնդկական «Գերազանցության կենտրոն», որի համար արդեն իսկ հնդկական կողմը Հայաստանին է տրամադրել մոտ 2 տոննա տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտին վերաբերող գրքեր։ Այս մասին NEWS.am- Ինովացիայի թղթակցի հետ հարցազրույցում ասաց «Ձեռնարկությունների ինկուբատոր հիմնադրամ»-ի տնօրեն Բագրատ Ենգիբարյանը՝ ավելացնելով, որ գրքերից բացի հնդկական կողմը հայ- հնդկական «Գերազանցության կենտրոն»-ի համար նախատեսում է Հայաստան ուղարկել սարքավորումներ, որոնք Հայաստան կհասնեն նոյեմբերին, իսկ ընդհանուր առմամբ, ամբողջ ծրագրի իրականցման համար հնդկական կողմը կծախսի 2 մլն դոլար։

Ենգիբարյանի խոսքով՝ հայ-հնդկական «Գերազանցության կենտրոն»-ում իրականացվելու է ոչ միայն մասնագետների սերտիֆիկացման գործընթաց, այլեւ ՏՏ ոլորտի վերաբերյալ ուսումնական դասընթացներ՝ ոչ միայն ուսանողների, այլեւ ՏՏ մասնագետների համար՝ նեղ մասնագիտականից մինչեւ ծրագրի ղեկավար։

«Այժմ կենտրոնի ապագա դասախոսները վերապատրաստում են անցնում Հնդկաստանում, եւ շուտով Հայաստան կվերադառնա Հնդկաստան մեկնած ՏՏ ոլորտի հայ մասնագետների առաջին խումբը, իսկ երկրորդ խումբը կմեկնի Հնդկաստան վերապատրաստումների օգոստոսի 22-ին»,-ասաց Ենգիբարյանը՝ նշելով, որ բացի հայ մասնագետներից հայ-հնդկական կենտրոնում դասավանդելու են նաեւ հնդիկ մասնագետներ։

Ենգիբարյանի խոսքով՝ ուսուցումը կենտրոնում ուսանողների համար լինելու է անվճար կամ սիմվոլիկ գումարով, իսկ ՏՏ ընկերությունների մասնագետների համար մասնագիտացված դասավանդումը կլինի վճարովի։

Ենգիբարյանի տեղեկացմամբ, արդեն իսկ Երեւանի պետական համալսարանի տարածքում ընթանում են հայ-հնդկական «Գերազանցության կենտրոն»-ի շինարարական աշխատանքերը, որոնք սակայն կավարտվեն 2011թվականին, իսկ մինչ այդ ուսուցումը եւ կենտրոնի աշխատանքները տեղի կունենան հայաստանյան չորս ԲՈՒՀ-երի ութ տարբեր լաբորատորիաներում։

Տեղեկացնենք, որ Երեւանում «Հայ-հնդկական տեղեկատվական եւ հեռահաղորդության տեխնոլոգիաների ուսումնական կենտրոն» ստեղծման աշխատանաքներն իրականացվում են Հայաստանի եւ Հնդկաստանի կառավարությունների միջեւ կնքված համաձայնագրի շրջանակում, որը կոչված է խորացնել երկկողմ համագործակցությունը տեղեկատվական եւ հեռահաղորդակցման տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտում: Նշենք, որ աշխատանքները Հայաստանից համակարգում է «Ձեռնարկությունների ինկուբատոր հիմնադրամ»-ը, իսկ Հնդկաստանից` «Հաշվողական առաջատար մշակումների կենտրոն»-ը:

Armenian IT professionals to participate in 6-month master training courses in India

PanARMENIAN.Net - Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), Ministry of Economy of RA and the Government of India represented by the Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) announce 6- month master training courses for Armenian professionals to be held in India in August, 2010 -January 2011.

Courses are organized in the framework of Armenia-India Center of Excellence to be established in Armenia and launched in mid 2010.

Application deadline is 31 May, 2010. Selection of best 5 candidates will be made jointly by Armenian and Indian parties.

On completion of courses and upon return to Armenia the trainees will be involved in delivering of training courses at the Armenia-India Center of Excellence, EIF press service told PanARMENIAN.Net

UN resolution: India 'upset' Baku

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The Azerbaijani Embassy had been carrying out strenuous work to dissuade India from voting against the resolution on Nagorno Karabakh, or, at least, abstain, Azeri Ambassador to India Tamerlan Karayev said.

"However, this country did not lend an ear to our arguments," he said.

"We were cherishing plans for cooperation. Unfortunately, India spoiled everything. Presently, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Delhi is waiting for MFA instructions. Afterwards, the official position of Baku will be brought to notion of the Indian side," he said.

"This move upset us and it will certainly affect the Azerbaijani-Indian relations," he said, 1news.az reports.

On 14 March, with 39 votes in favor, 7 against and 100 abstentions the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution on Nagorno Karabakh, in which Azerbaijan called for the immediate, complete and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian forces "from all the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan."
