Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • Agdam Mosque desecration video, is this true??

Guys Im confused, help me out. An Azeri put this video on youtube:
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

The video is unfair, this Azeri doesnt talk about Julfa cemetery or the Blue Mosque in Yerevan. Although this is normal Turk behavior, this is not how Armenians should behave. Keeping pigs and cows in a mosque? This is unacceptable, and Im having a hard time believing it. Is this video true?

Personally I do not approve of this.

I would like to pose the question who took these pictures and for what purpose. What was it trying to achieve.

The other point, I would want confirmation that these pictures are not doctored in any way.
Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

Demolish it, they certainly would! You only have to look at what the Albanians did in Kosovo did to Churches to know what that crowd are really all about.

Why the hell is there a terrorist indoctrination centre in Yerevan anyway? Armenia would do well to limit Iran's seemingly growing influence and presence in the country. The 300,000 mostly Armenian Christians in Iran need be resettled to Armenia in order to increase Armenia's population and Armenians should not be working for the econmic benefit of an Islamist entity.

While I like your enthusiasm, that's not how you do politics, in a region like this you need all the friends you can get, even if they're Islamists. BUT, when xxxx hits the fan, everyone knows who their real friends are, until then, economic prosperity trumps religion.

The author of this video is already discredited and will be discredited further. His lies are being more and more exposed. In any case, that mosque is in a much better situation than any ancient Armenian monument in the territory controlled by Azerbaijan.

That guy is the same guy behind SeaSnakeX. He like to pretend to look smart when in reality the only people he's impressing is Azerbaijanis. He reminds me of Pashayeva. No one cares what he has to say, his pretentious attitude is transparent, and soon this guy's name will be smeared by some Armenian YouTuber.

BTW, you should go to Armenian monestaries in Arstakh and see what armenian tourists are doing to them, writing their names on centuries old stones. I'd post pics of it, but, it's too despicable.

Such pragmatism can also end up costing you dear and it's a mistake for a small state like Armenia to allow it's self to be compromised. Indeed, look at the way Hezbollah in Lebanon have insidiously taken over the country.

The Arabs and Turks have completely despoiled Iran and the present Iranian regime are a joke. Since the only way that they can remain in power is by resorting to good old fashioned, neo-feudal violence, terror and repression.

The Russia's recent actions in buying a UAV's from Israel can only be interpreted, as a slap in the Iranian regimes face. Iran is not a responsible or rational actor and the Israelis and Europeans; need not tolerate the formation of another Islamist nuclear basketcase like Pakistan. Even if Iran is technically within Russia's sphere and a Sino-Russian protectorate.

Don't mistake me though. I do like Persian culture and I think that it's a great pity about Iran. Nor am I advocating somehow turning the place into Las Vegas.

why the hell do Azeris care? They're never going to come back to Karabakh. Given we have no Muslims in our populations, there's no need for such mosques, and should be just demolished, the land is valuable, why have Azeri remnants stay?

Muslims should be content with the fact that we're keeping the blue mosque in Yerevan, because that property is very expensive and in a central location.

Oh, and shall we remember what Azeris, Turks have done to our churches? Muslims in general?

Well, sure, they did alot of bad things and all the world knows it. When we get back these lands, we will rebuild them (the shurra khachkars are gone forever tho).
But that doesn't mean we need to sink to their level. what would that accomplish? These buildings will eventually rot and fall on their own as time passes.

And post pics of the destruction caused by the Armenia Church and their mafiosi-backers. If UNESCO was really interested in preserving cultural objects, Armenia should be threatened with expulsion from it and the UNESCO listed monuments in Armenia removed from that list (since their current condition breaks all the rules about what should be listed and how they should be conserved). And of course Azerbaijan would have been expelled long ago.
