    At the state university in Yerevan, there were a certain faculty, where if you weren't clean shaven (and I mean clean) you would not be let into the class. It can get pretty strict. Though my Uncle has a big beard, but he is a priest.

      You are mistaken. Greece is suffering one of its worst economic crises. Turkish businessmen have become very rich and Turkey has offered Greece financial help. Turkish textile firms are supplying top designer labels in Europe and the US. Turkish construction firms are heavily involved in projects in Ukraine, Russia, belarus...last year more than 1000 Turkish businessmen descended on Baghdad. Where is Greece? What are Armenians doing?

        There's always going to be an "elite" in every country, they still have 20-30% of their country in poverty.
