FRESH TENSIONS IN ALEPPO; ARMENIANS WOUNDED IN ROCKET ATTACK (PHOTOS)

    11:07 * 02.10.14

Fresh rocket attacks were launched in Aleppo's Armenian-populated
    neighborhood Wednesday, targeting local civilians.

Our sources from Syria's economic capital report that the raids,
released by missiles and makeshift rockets, have been very frequent
in Nor Kyugh over the past days.

The local Armenian newspaper Gandzasar reports on its Facebook page
that one makeshift rocket targeted a national school.

The attack is said to have claimed the life of one Arab resident. Two
Armenians, Shahe Shahinyan and Avetis Solakyan, were wounded.

Their condition is reported to be very serious.

    Hayastan or Bust.

^^^^hope they recover from their serious injuries.....hope Armenians there are organized.

Does anyone know of Armenian organizations (or individuals by themselves) volunteer program to go to Syria and help protect the Armenian community, schools, churches, etc against ISIS with Turks and Azeris mixed in them when it comes to the Christian neighborhoods?

      I hate these scumbags.

            .

I just wanted to highlight that the Syrian opposition is using The star and crescent on its flag.

No need to guess its patrons.

I saw it in this article.
Several senior US and French officials, including US Senator John McCain, entered Syria illegally – without proper visas – on separate occasions, thus violating the country’s sovereignty, Syria said in a complaint submitted to the United Nations.

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.

              That's the Libyan flag post-Gaddafi.

                Thanks for the correction Federate,

                post Gadhafi ... hmm ...
unfortunately my cynical comment still stands,

                Just replace Syrian by Libyan.
Syria still in danger of going Libya way both country and flag.

I agree with you about the sponsors of the Syrian opposition. It's a Turkish proxy.
