Armenia gained independence 20 years ago. Chess Olympics are held every 4 years. In 20 years Armenia with a population of 3 million has 3 championships. In 20 years time there have only been 4 or 5 championships depending on starting year. Out of these 5 champions Armenia holds 3 titles.
