The Turkish border town of Nusaybin has been heavily shelled by Turkish government forces as clashes between Ankara and Kurdish separatists intensify in the predominantly Kurdish southeast.

What's interesting is that when the Turks started to really slaughter the Armenians in the mid-late 1800's, it was to obviate their actual conflict with the Kurds- the Armenians and others were not in rebellion. In other words, the Armenians/Assyrians and other Christians were scapegoated and sacrificed to keep the Kurds in-line and busy and provide the Kurds booty and thus assuaged from rebellion. Many of the Kurds (but not all), Circassians were used more or less kept occupied and encouraged to do the dirty work. Now the Turks (and Kurds) are reaping what they've sown.

    F#ck 'em..
