    The Armenian Question can be examined from two perspectives: the historical and the political one. The Armenian Question is part of the Anatolian Question that is the fate of the lands released after a possible breakdown of the Ottoman Empire.

    Since the 19th century, Ottoman authorities were under pressure to make changes that would improve the living conditions of the subjugated Armenian people who lived in their historical homeland which happened to constitute provinces of the Ottoman Empire.
