Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)
1] What you CAN NOT post.
You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene
You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)
The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!
2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.
This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.
3] Keep the focus.
Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.
4] Behave as you would in a public location.
This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.
5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.
Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.
Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.
7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.
- PLEASE READ -
Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.
8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)
If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Turkey an ethnically 100% Turkish state.Myth and Reality.
Sources used. http://www.cia.gov./cia/publications...k/geos/tu.html http://www.scimitarmusic.com/pontos/laz.html,
Today, two Turkish F-16s flew close to an Olympic Airways Boeing 717 in Greek airspace, triggering the crash avoidance alarm and prompting a protest by the Greek Foreign Ministry. The passenger plane (flight 321) was en route from Athens to Istanbul.
''Not that all that helped Armenia, since it just made Republican Turkey all the more eager to make Turkey an ethnically 100% Turkish state''
Yes it is true Ataturk's ideology was to make Turkey a 100% Turkish state, practicaly the same thing that Nazi Germany attempted, which means the elimination of all the minorities which have capital or economical power in the Turkish state. As a result the elimination of the Armenian , Greek , Assyrian and of other Christian Nestorian populations took place. As a result it made Turkey more pure than what it was.But if Turkey actually became pure Turkish , that is really a difrent thing.
But even after all that ethnic cleanshing took place we can observe that they didnt finish the job.As a result that ''100% Turkish state'' has an enomous Kurdish minority in Tukey, which the number is unknown since the Turks wont give any information, but from what we estimate it has to be around a 20% to 15%.
The Kurds are not the only minority in Turkey though. There is a big amount of Slavs which i honestly dont know their number, for example there are Bulgarians near Constantinople which speak bulgarian language not to mention Romanians, Albanian etc .Another minority is the Laz population. Those people are very similiar to the Pontian Greeks in most of their things. They speak a unique Altaic language and they originate from the black sea , Colchis. They have their own unique history , their own special language which of course it has nothing to do with the Turkish history and they, the Laz people , hopefully know it.I add there are some Pontians left in Trabzon which they escaped the ethnic cleanshings since they adopted Islam.
So obviously there are many kind of difrent people living in that ''ethnically 100% Turkish state'' as a clown stated up there.
Now here we come in the interesting part. Those minorities are made to beleive that they are pure Turks, that they are the same with the ''real Turks ''of Turkey. They learn Turkish language Turkish history and they are made to beleive that its their own history even if they speak another language in their homes. They dont have right to learn their own unique history , for example the Laz people were part of the Great Pontic Empire of Mithridates The Great. But they dont have the right to learn it.
The reasons that the minorities are not given the right to learn their history ,which is difrent of those of the Turks, is simple.Turkey is a xenopophic country , as they know that the Turkish republic has been built on lies and on the blood of innocent people , they fear them, they are depserately trying to prevent all ethnic minorities to keep their real original ethnic identities. From 1923 untill today the Turks were trying to make all the minorities , which is a very significant amount of people, to forget their true ethnic identity and to assimilate them in the Turkish culture and history.
As for the ''Turks have abandoned the idea to expand and stick just to Anatolia'' , i just have to mention Cyprus and how untill today they are trying to have rights in the Aegean sea let alone that every year that ''peacfull'' ,''demoratic'' , ''praisworthy'' country which is as well a ''100% Turkish state'' and is not imperialist but just wants to stick in Anatolia is violating Greek airspace every day and spending 12.155 billion dollars every year for millitary purpose instead of trying to educate their minorities.Because since knowledge is power that could be very powerfull tool for the minorities and very dangerous for the Turkish state.Because it can create mamy interior problems which could be solved perhaps with another genocide.
As for Turkey's attempts to become a EU member, it seems not very possible.Europe is trying to use Turkey as a labour force.Since Turks work for very low prices. They are trying to aproach them more closely in order not to let them to only have ''relations'' with the USA.Practicaly Turkish people will be used the same way Chinese and Indians and other cheap working labour forces are used in Asia .Of course European people are against
Turkey's join in the EU.
For Armenia it can be very benefitial since it can cause interior probems, especially about the minority issue.I beleive there is a big possibility that the Genocide will be recognised by Turkey during their attempts to join the EU.

disagree with u...i dont think that Turkey has such an intention or it has ever had....except the things happened years ago, when the country itself was called Ottoman, neither the government nor the people are planning to do such a thing. They dont support any 'taking revenge' action...

the Armenian people or organizations in USA have more power now to force the USA government to accept the genocide because USA-Turkey relations are a bit rocky at the moment..Turkey did not side with the USA when USA invaded Iraq and nowadays even Rumsfeld said something like "We were not so successfull in Iraq because we could not send troops to Iraq from Turkey"..an accusation to Turkey.!!..
But USA always uses this genocide issue for its own interests..When relations with Turkey gets rocky, they(USA) in a covered way tell Turks ;"Look help us more ,,we are trying hard to stop the Armenian campaign for recognition of the genocide"..and then USA gets more or whatever they want more from Turkey..this is politics..Probably USA will never utter the word "genocide" ..USA always acts on its own interests..I mean ; who can claim that USA invaded Iraq for the aim of bringing democracy to Iraqi people??..bullxxxx..sorry,,lol..why not bring democracy to North Koreans as well??ohh that is not so easy..Koreans probably have nukes now which can reach the west cost of USA..cities like Los Angeles and so on..
