  • let's write plays

I thought of something. And I'm going to use my own words to describe it.

I'm sure everyone has noticed the plight of the Armenian people. The politicians are corrupt, there's all sorts of screwy politics going on, murders and such. There's always talk about fixing it, but nothing happens. No one is ever held accountable and so on and so on. Sometimes the citizens even protest but they just get ignored.

So I thought instead of protesting they should perform plays in front of the government buildings. They could be anything, drama, comedy, tragedy, etc. The point would be is that they'll be done so well, that it could gather a lot of interest. Simply to see a good play. But the plays will be about what their protesting, or how the people feel, or what they think. They can come up w/ creative scripts and even the people who the stuff is really happening to can play parts.

I think it will be a very ironically appropriate way to show the authorities how real their reality has become.

An ideal location for these plays would be near the mafia-owned cafes near Cascade. The people enjoying their surj at these numerous outdoor cafes can watch and enjoy a free show.

but I had in mind that the plays would be more meaningful than just entertainment. They would actually be of serious issues going on, people act it out in play form because protesting is not working, and it's also more creative and draws more attention. I'm hoping as the plays become more and more popular they will deal serious blows to the govt image, w/out them being able to fight back.
