Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

OK. I tried to be nice with you but you obviously have some mental issues and I can't help you if you don't want to help yourself. You need a shrink, girl. Good luck to you.

And out respect to this thread starter and contributors let's refrain from off topic posts.

It's the perfect question to ask the shrink during your first session.

You were unable to tell, from my post, that I already had the answer, and the question was a rhetorical one??? Too subtle for a ruffian????

Your initial posts supporting the elimination of the ARF and its members in Armenia? That's what prompted me to respond, remember?

Well, don't you think that I'm within my rights to chose the way I'd like to respond to an insult to my language? Is it childish to say that some fuken Soviet bureaucrat wrote the Eastern Armenian language? I don't think so. At best it's stupid and shows the lack of knowledge of that individual and at worst it's treasonous. Now, if it were the former then I'd ignore it, but I'm affraid the person in question spoke out of his convictions, in other words I consider his comments to be treasonous, and therefore I reserve the right to respond the way I see it fit. If you are offended by my remarks you should blame the person who started and not the person who responded.
I haven't insulted eastern Armenian. Soviet bureaucrats did create the spelling system that is in use in Armenia. It's acknowledged by the academics in the "state." And it's not like eastern Armenian is only spoken by Armenians from Armenia. What about the Iranian Armenians?

Kissing dashnak arses now, are we?

First of all don't put words in my mouth: "elimination" etc. Where are my "IF's", motherfuker? If you are unable to correctly state what I said then just quote my entire post. Don't misrepresent, don't quote out of context and don't exaggerate. Secondly, the post was on topic and that's the whole point.

Eastern Armenian spelling system existed centuries before the Soviets. List the names of those "academics" who have "acknowledged", list your sources or shut up.

Yes you did insulted Eastern Armenian, don't you run away you little pri-ck!

I have a sentimental appreciation for the party, which today I find rather silly.

I know that there has been an Armenian (not just eastern or western) spelling system that has existed for centuries, way before the Soviets, who did create a new, flawed spelling system that is still in use in Armenia.

                  That's right.
Did you see the "if" right in the beggining? Great. Because I don't call for their expulsion unless... (see my above post).

The whole point is this: No one and nothing is above the law, and I mean absolutely no one and absolutely nothing, be it a political party, a company or a multinational corporation they all have to obide the law. If any of them is caught breaking the law then they will be punished, the harder they break the harder they will be punished.

Do you, or anyone else in here, believe(s) that the ARF is above the law?

A simple spelling reform is NOT a creation of a new spelling system. These are two very different things. Had you said "a few local Armenians got together and made a few changes to the existing spelling system in order to modernise it" I wouldn't say anything. But instead you came out and declared that the Soviets (implying some Russian fukers in Moscow) created our spelling system (a whole new spelling system that is).

Who wrote this poisonous cr-ap in Wikipedia? "In the Soviet Union during the 1920s, a majority of the population consisted of farmers and illiterates." WOW! The Diasporan who wrote that has reached a new low. Unbelievable! And let me guess: All of our intellectuals fled the country with the Dashnaks. Is that right? ...Once again, you are offending everything that is dear to me (my country, my language) and then you pretend you didn't. Whoever wrote that wiki article is a hater and a poisonous rat. There is no objectivity and balance in it. It's full of hate and bias. And if you subscribe to that article then so are you: a hater and a poisonous rat.

                      Cyber Hug Alert!

The above quoted post has been already delete/reposted several times; for those who are not familiar enough with the deleting/reposting mania - driven by apparent mental/emotional troubles - of the skinhead, using the alias "Armenian," the goal is to bump the thread to the top and give the post "visibility" - i.e. a desperate cry for love, a desperate need for a cyber hug.
Maybe some of his skinhead buddies who know how to nurse him, should give Katchn Nazar what he desperately needs: Give him some (cyber) love, give him some (cyber) hugs, nurse his aching mind! Tell him how "patriotic" he is, how "unique" he is, how "intelligent" he is, compliment his knowledge of the Armenian Language etc. etc.

                      Thanks!

P.S. Of course, you should also deny that he's in pain and etc. etc.

P.S.S. Almost forgot! To make it more realistic, please don't forget to address me a couple of unpleasant words!!!
