  • Nagorno Karabakh: a phantom state?

Nagorno Karabakh looks like a traditional state: people speak Armenian, use Armenian currency, they have their own flag and president. But they live on what's internationally recongnized as Azerbaijani soil...

Another documentary regarding Armenian affairs by the France 24 international news channel. It was broad casted today.

I liked most of it. I wish someone would tell the voice-over people that they're not competing for the Oscars. The guy telling them to leave the danger area was not shouting, but the dubber was.

It's hard to watch the young soldiers and not want to be transported there to hug and kiss them, as if they were your brothers and sons.

Euronews (basically a francocentric channel) and France24 presentation of things related to Armenia could be regarded disproportional to Armenia's geopolitical significance. In fact EuroNews had made a more extended presentation in regard to the Golden Apricots international festival than Armenia's official satellite channel.
