Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

And as fot other Armo players - Sargis Sargsian is a huge personality as well aint him! I just love him! Much as Nalby and Andre.

lol, stop using the term admit. It's as if he admitted to raping someone or something. Nalbandian's armenian from his father's side, but he apparently does not speak the language. Agassi also doesn't speak the language, but did appear on the PBS special "the Armenian Americans". He's a Barskahye I believe. And of course, the best of em all, Sargsian plays for Armenia, so no further comments.

There is also Marie-Gayané Mikayelian who is quite young and playing for Switzerland.

We should get all these players to play for Armenia. Or at least Nalbandian and Mikayelian. As for Agassi, I'm hoping that after his retirement, he'll open a tennis school in Armenia, and coach our young players. He and Graf could spend 6 months in Germany, and 6 in Armenia. Wishful thinking? Perhaps. But he damn well do it.

welll yeah they were interviewing david nalbandian once and they asked him about his nationality, and he said he's Armenian from his dad side, but his mom is Argentinian. His grandparents speak Armenian, but he can't. Agassi is not Armenian, he's never said he's Armenian, apparently his dad is Persian, probably his dad's grandparents or something have some Armenian blood in em, but Agassi's parent aren't Armenians.
Marie gayaneh mikaelian, I personally met her this summer during a tournament at Stanford, and she said few Armenian words here and there. She's a really cool chick, and she's only 20.
Sargis Sargisian, my coach used to be his coach, he's a really cool guy, very down to Earth, and 100000% Armenian.....
watch out for another Armenian girl in the next few years....me....hahahahahaha.......it's a possibility!

        talking of the same topic

Well that "admit"term - I am sorry but my English aint that good. I have been learning it just in the school. So obviously sometimes I probably use the bad words to express my thaughts. Anyways I am happy that at least you can understand what I mean.

Now back to tennis, I have also met Gayane s name here and there and I think I also found her picture on the net. Shurely we all wish her and you "fstkhnan" (thats is how u r signed - dont know your name) plenty of success. Maybe you could tell us something about yourself. Like how old r u, where do you live and what level of tennis are you playing at. Thats soo interesting and exciting!

2 Baron Dants personally : like it would be really great, but thats just impossible to make David and Andre play under Armenoian flag. Nevertheless I am delighted that there really are great players with the Armenian blood in them!

As much as Sarg is concerned, 100% agree that he is super personality. I saw some of his matches and interviews and u got to agree he has got also plenty of fans anywere he goes. And not only Armenians. I have a tape with his match against Rusedski in the Queens Club a few years ago when he beat him in two sets. And returning to Agassi, I think the fact he practices with Sargis also speaks that Andre is not negative with Armenians wich is great! Only wish he would talk about that sometimes...!

lol, don't worry, your english is very very good. The "admit" thing wasn't only directed at you, many people tend to use that word when referring to armenians "admitting" their roots.

Agassi's presence on the "armenian americans" special as well as the fact that he's good friends with Sargis should confirm the fact that he is at least part Armenian.

And please, don't ruin my dream world where all Armenians return to Armenia and represent their native country. I feel like crying every time I see Armen Nazarian with that damn Bulgarian flag. Nothing against Bulgaria, but he should be having the red-blue-orange over his shoulders every time he wins, like he did at the Atlanta Olympics. Maaaan, we HAVE TO get this guy back.

Yeah, thanx for the invitation, but I m a little bit too far away lol. As I said, currently living and studying in Europe. Anways talking about Sargis I dindt find any fan sites dedicated to him. And I think thats a greaat shame. I am shure he deserves that kind of recognition. Something where he could see his HUGE support. But unfortunately I am not educated to create internet sites. Simply I can not do that. But if someone can, I ask to try to do it. As for me I will do anything I can to provide some materials, infos and so on. Just imagine... ww.sargsian.com! Shurely It would be great to make some other sites ex.: Nalbandian, Gayane etc.. But Sargis is a priority for me. So if you guys have any experience with creating some xxxx like that so lets do it! I dont think its financialy too expencive. Alternatively we could put the site at some free servers. All we need is will and some free time.

                Greetings!

Baron forget nazarian. he went to bulgaria for money. he is a dirty bastard, i dont want that guy wrestling for Armenia, if he abandons his country and proudly flies another flag everytime he wins he doesnt deserve to represent us no matter how good of a wrestler he is, he can go xxxx himself. there are a lot of Armenian wrestlers that represent other countries though. there was a guy Ari or Ara somethingIAN from Sweden, he is good, and then a guy from ukraine. but those guys never represented Armenia to begin with and didnt switch over or anything they were just citizens of another country so that is okay i guess.

watch out for me people, im going to be president of Armenia and world famous soccer player both at the same time.
