  • Monte (avo) Melkonyan R.i.p.

It seems in remembering many rich and famous armenians
    we are forgetting our heroes.

This post is in rememberance of Monte Melkonyan and all the troops that fell during the Karabagh War.

    ALL MEN WILL EVENTUALLY DIE,

    BUT LEGENDS LIVE FOREVER!!!

Akh Monte! Hats off for bringing him up.

The amount of respect he gets in Artsakh is unbelievable (and well deserved). I remember when a few fedayis were singing a famous song, and changed the last part to "Antranigin, Serop Pashin, yev Melkonianin".

We needed more men like him coming from the diaspora.

I second that notion. I remember everything we did to commemorate when I was in AYF. Great man, as well as many others like him....

Every man that fought and died in Artsakh was a great hero. Our nation owes our first military victory in thousands of years. These men deserve our utmost respect and gratitude. Let us hope we are one day as great as these men and lets hope that there are more Armenians as dedicated to their nation as these men were.

Baron im telling you. me and you are going to make Armenia great one day.

I know eh? I'm getting that feeling too. We should have our first meeting, summer of 2005, in Yerevan, to plan things out. Deal?

                Count me in.

I am overwhelmed that I got such a response
not necessarilly of comments but viewers.

Tigran jan, the way I figured it out is: I'll get my degree in international law, and politicial science. This will allow me to engage in the world of politics, but even then, I will be qualified enough to choose from many other jobs, if it doesn't work out.

Then, the experience gained in the other job (for example, a journalist covering international relations) will get me enough qualifications to get back into politics.

Yev dstyle, say what you feel like saying. Our other "debate" reached a good ending, this one should too. Plus, it's funner when there are war of words going on.
