Re: Anita Sarkeesian
Don't forget your own definition from some months ago, the "three thousand year old culture" thing. And then have a fight about what defines that "culture" (unchangeing as it surely has been for three thousand years) and end up discarding the 99% of "Armenians" that don't fit. Maybe you might have enough left to fill a few villages in Armenia (some of the recently deserted ones, perhaps).

Re: Anita Sarkeesian
"There exists no Armenian ‘race.’ There is only an Armenian people, an Armenian nation. This is why we need to fight. The Armenian people in the diaspora are losing their identity as a cultural-national entity, succumbing to the centrifugal effects of cultural assimilation. If Armenians of the diaspora do not claim their right to live in their homeland they will gradually lose their common cultural identity. And if this happens, the white massacre of our nation will have succeeded.”

If I had to describe myself this is exactly how I would describe myself !!! (as most people in that circumstance )
I do not think there is anything wrong with appreciating foreign culture.
No different than going to an ethnic restaurant and enjoying the meal.
However some people to go an ethnic restaurant, they love the place so much they become the dishwasher.

Re: Anita Sarkeesian
Half the people Armenians are always claiming as part of their tribe barely self-identify as such so including Sarkeesian isn't really a stretch.
Anyway...

I like this statement.
It should be stuck in the face of all odaramols and its propagandists.
