Why is nobody mentioning the talented Iranian Armenian composer Loris Tjeknavorian (Cheknavarian)?

I know Loris and his son (who is a film producer) personally. Although Loris is an interesting character, and may have been popular in Iran, nonetheless, he is not a big talent. We have a lot of talent, raw and refined, within our small nation. That is why we can only afford to highlight the greatest talent amongst us.

Only people who have absolutely no knowledge of classical music whatsoever would downplay the role and talent of Tjeknavorian. With Armenians like you, who needs enemies?

He was also a conductor. Perhaps best remembered for that.

I don't know if thats the guy, but one of my Iranian friends at school was telling me about some "great" song he heard co-composed by some Armenian and an Iranian composer. Maybe thats him...
