Azad. I don't get it. Armenia or Armenians has nothing with Turkey's EU candidacy. And what is 1/9 of Armenia? Turks were the majority in todays so called Armenia. You cleaned Turks in 170 years with various massacres of should I say genocides? 1905-1907 1918-1920 1948-1951 1988-1989
Erivan Hanlığı before Char's invasion 1828
Turks 84.089
Armenians 57.305
Kurts 26.911
Others 850 it doesn't look 1/9 to me.
Could it not be that the Turks didn't want to live under the rule of the tzar and moved to the Ottoman empire like they did from the Balkans after the Balkan wars.
But let us be fair, this idea of attacking one another by means of massing together the amount of "famous people" each side has is pointless, you have to look at the civilizatoin as a whole. Unfourtunitly, Armenians contributed much to the Ottoman Empire, but in the end, they contributed to the growth of the Ottoman Empire, it ended in the Ottoman name, we need to learn this fundimental Armenian history lesson. However, Armenia as a modern state and during the time under the soviet union has contributed greatly to western civlization, for a country the size of Armenia, our output is greater than our input relative to our population and resources.

Istanbul 1919 ... Berch Keresteciyan Efendi, in those days, is the Director of the Ottoman Bank. Mustafa Kemal knows him from Selanik, as the president of the bank’s Selanik branch.
In the Istanbul of those days, a city teeming with spies on every corner, Berch Keresteciyan meets with Mustafa Kemal’s attorney Sadettin Ferit Bey and divulges the following information:“You are, I believe, both the attorney and a close friend of the Esteemed Pasha. The ship that the Esteemed will be taking to Samsun will be sunk by a British torpedo boat outside the Bosphorus. Please convey this warning to the Esteemed Pasha.”
This guy Berch Keresteciyan Efendi, was he half xxxish? Efendi is a xxxish last name and he is from Selanik, which had a high percent of crypto xxxs? Anyways, I don't think he is a "famous Armenian", you can claim this one as your own, just call him a Turk. By the way, it is not because he saved Ataturk's life, rather, the idea that he would have opted to work for the Ottoman Empire, when the new Armenian Republic had been created, is repulsive. Turkified Armenains like him make me sick, as Armenian put it, "Christian Turks".
By the way, Selpak, you are getting a bit creative with your avatar selection, I like your new avatar, but lets be honest with ourselves. If I had to pick, I would rather have one gigantic unibrow versus looking like a mongol, white man with a unibrow > looking like Ghengis Khan.

Did you really watch the video? What is wrong with it? They all are respected Armenians in Turkey.
