I got his name on a neo-con/j**ish site (http://www.je*ishworldreview.com/0307/koch032107.php3), where he is quoted as having hostile views against Israel. Namely that Kristof "dared" to suggest that America's leadership is too supportive of Israel and that he prefers Obama's view.
I wasn't expecting him to be Armenian, but that's what Wiki says.
He's a Pulitzer prize winner. I guess he also was the driving force behind changing the New York Times editorial policy of not using the term "The Armenian Genocide".
