I wonder whether anyone can help me. I am just back from my first trip to Armenia. I am an italian armenian with no command of the beautiful language of my father and his family. I am learning slowly. I had the chance ot listen one og Rouben Hakhverdian concert and have someone translating for me during the concert. I liked it lot and would like to find a translation in english or french or italian or german of his lyrics. I bought his book and mp3 but there is no translation. Thanks a lot

I'd suggest you learn Armenian and understand him in Armenian; you'll definitely enjoy it much more...
Personally, I have grown up with Ruben Hakhverdian's songs... And as a person, he is such an adorable man...

it is because I woud like to learn armenian and "smelt" he is such an inspired poet" that I bought all his songs. With the translation I will be able to get the sense and sing it in armenian - there is nothing easier than learning a language than through mimicing its poets...
