  • Turkish extremists destroyed and burned Armenian café in Brussels

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Last night some 200 people, belonging to Gray Wolves extreme movement, destroyed and set to fire the Jardin de Babylone café owned by an Iraqi Armenian in the neighborhood Saint-Josse-Ten-Noode of Brussels.

A little before in the evening the hooligans had pulled out then burned the American flag which was hanging on the frontage of the U.S. Embassy.

Mehmet Koksal, a Belgian journalist of Turkish origin, who filmed the scene, was severely beaten by the extremists howling hostile and insulting the U.S. slogans.

This demonstration would have a direct relation to the Turkish-Kurdish confrontation that has claimed lives of 12 Turkish soldiers are 23 Kurdish rebels.

As a PanARMENIAN.Net came to know from the European Armenian Federation, some 20 people were in the café at that moment. None of them was hurt. However, a policeman, who was at the site, is reported to be injured.

I posted this as an example of typical Turkish behavior when things don't go there way...they get destructive and violent.
As Armenians, I want you to have situational awareness (especially if you live in an area were Turks have a foothold) of your suroundings.
Turks are irrational people and are capable of commiting great harm...just keep that in mind and be prepared especially at publisized Armenian gatherings such as church baazars, etc.

I personally think Turks should be encouraged to continue expressing such types of behavior.

They don't need any encouragement. Such words are highly inflammatory and could be seen as inciting violence. Regardless of the forum, it is irresponsible.

Yet, the U.S. government should recognize that appeasing and accomodating Turkey is not a good foreign policy position. As once the Turkish government grasps that the U.S. shall succumb to their threats and posturing, the radicals and fanatics of the bunch then embrace acts of violence on minority groups as a demonstration of some perceived superiority and belief that attacks on minorities will not be punished.

Nice catch Crusader. As this is not likely to be addressed in national MSM.

I'm not surprised I was expecting them to do something bad. I am really afraid of them doing something here in the US. Theres alot of them in NY/NJ..

                  What is That Grey WOLVES

Turk's ancestors before Christ(in Turkish mythology) believed that Turk nation was reproduced from a grey female wolf. That female wolf's name was "Asena"

So nationalist Turks use this mythological symbol...

Yes I heard that story too.
That's the story where Assena was conceived from the wolf's ass. Attached is the real shewolf.
