    in Baku, Azerbaijan...
    Between childhood, boyhood,

    & manhood (maturity) there

      I dunno.

For starters, its a false report kind of like that false news conference held by FEMA last week.

Ok, I'm changing my conspiracy theory because my new one is given wait by the AP report on this news event. http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5h..._Z51wD8SJ43781

Azerbaijan is elaborating the event to make the West think they are tough on terrorists and a strong ally to the West in its war on terror.

        Yeah, that sounds about right.

Considering what is going on currently with Iran and Turkey's mobilization toward invading northern Iraq, is this a surprise?

            Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Georgia... who's next?

No, the surprise is that the U.S. may now be realizing that it bit off more than it could chew.

Looks like ripples of destabilization are spreading into our 'allied' countries in the region, their allies and the Caucasus. Can't really win a war on terror when nations you are relying on are falling into state of emergencies because of rise of dissent (peaceful or otherwise) on their borders or within.

Why doesn't it surprise you, B.K.?

Does it surprise you that Middle East leaders probably aren't very impressed when Secretary Rice appears representing the U.S.?

Here is an interesting article discussing NATO'S push in South Arab countries and the US-Turkish tension raised by the Kurdish question that also addresses what's going on generally in the region and how NATO forces are being tested by the various scenarios running up from Somalia to Azerbaijan. http://www.middle-east-online.com/english/?id=23037
