  • Ara's Flight

Ara's Flight is a short film about a young boy who dreams of
flying into the heavens to reunite with his parents. All alone
in a deserted orphanage, Ara builds a pair of cardboard wings
    and attempts to take flight!

Ara's Flight is dedicated to all the children of war. The film
attempts to visualize the needs orphaned children have for
love and guidance in a world that can sometime make no sense.

I love it. It's amazing how well he has been able to capture the inherent dangers in simply dreaming and acting on those dreams without a careful plan.

On a different note, I wonder if the creator was influenced by this piece.

This is a prime example of what I don't get about you. How could you find humor in the video I posted that had strong overtones of the Genocide?

I guess your just being Sip.

I think you misunderstood what I found humorous. There is NOTHING funny about the Genocide. However, I definitely DO appreciate the method by which the creator of the cartoon is taking stab at those who are simply dreamers and not particularly well guided.

I assume you do realize that the kid DIES at the end. That says a lot about what the creator of the cartoon really thinks about the faith of our current "dreamers".

FYI, the kid is symbolic of Diaspora if you haven't picked up on that yet

I'll say it again, I love the cartoon.
