Re: Family to be deported back...

These people have no excuse to not teach their kids Armenian, makes me sick, especially since they are in california and from Armenia.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.

Valedictorian deportation story updated, Sen. Feinstein hints at potential 'private' bill just for the family. http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/06/05/arm...ion=cnn_latest

The "fact" that Mkoyan doesn't know how to speak Armenian is probably being overstated to garner sympathy from congress and the courts. They're probably saying something like "how are you going to put him in a country where he doesn't even speak the language?"

So it's similar to that who*e from the u.k. who claimed she was part turdish and would be discriminated in Armenia? Either way it's a shame and I'd rather not have people associate their kind with Armenia or Armenians!

Valedictorian seeking letters from community, state and nation to Senator Diane Feinstein supporting his family's cause to stay in US; Armenian attorney in San Francisco to help family for free; Congressional private bill help family while possible, probably not likely to pass. http://www.fresnobee.com/263/story/652987.html
