Armenian Translation

Hi,

Would anyone give me the Armenian words for the suits of cards--hearts, clubs, diamonds and spades? Western Armenian, that is.

I'd really appreciate it.

For western Armenian it is:

Heart - Sird

Club - Janj

Diamond - Karo (you could probably say "atamant" as well, but they mostly use Karo. Karo is supposedly Turkish, but might be Armenian, since a diamond is an odd-shaped square, and Karo can be short for Karagousi)

Spade - Macha (note that this is a Turkish word)

Jack is Dgha, Queen is Aghchig, King is Pappaz. Ace is ass, but use an Armenian accent to pronounce it, like Աս
