  • Will we lose our Culture

Every year people leave Armenia to live else were and a lot of Armenians come back to live in Armenia and what happens is their culture gets mixed up or just forgotten because of countries like America were its a huge influents on other countries.
What I’m trying to say is I don’t want Armenia turning out to be like America or Australia were there is no culture no real religion it’s like plain toast its boring.
There is research going around which is pretty much saying in the next 20 or 30 years a lot of country will lose their culture and their religion because of travel and big countries like America influencing them.

Yup. It's called globalization and there's a lot of information about it available - at least in English. You can't really be for or against it - it's something that's going to inevitably happen. However, there are ways to slow the process such as government mandates, economic controls, nationalization of industry, etc.

Personally, I think what's going to happen is a lot of people in the West are going to get fed up with their meaningless lives and "revolt" against this sort of globalization. At the same time, however, developing countries in the East are going to embrace the economic boon that globalization brings as most have never seen this much money pour into their country before. It'll be interesting to see what's going to happen in the next couple of decades.

There is a way to halt it and you kind of touched on it in your post

"revolt" against this sort of globalization.
If people do understand the dangers and take the proper steps to limit the influence of "globalization" on themselves and their kids then we have a good chance. But most governments are for globalization so of course people will never hear of the evils of globalization from their leaders. While we can debate what steps to take in order to limit the influence of globalization upon ourselves and our country, I think we all can agree that educating ourselves about the topic and its dangers is the first step.
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.
