Satellite is a Polish progressive rock band formed recently out of the ashes of another Polish progressive rock band named Collage which was active from the mid 80's until the late 90's. Robert Amirian joined Collage as a vocalist in '93. For a while after Satellite formed he played bass and sang but now he is strictly vocals.
I saw Satellite play at Baja Prog 2007. They're a good solid band with some interesting music. Robert Amirian is half Armenian and half Polish and alluded to his Armenian heritage on stage at Baja Prog.
