If anything I would change/Armenize my name. I know the Armenized version of my name is "Dimoteos/Timoteos" (Տիմոթէոս), but I'm not sure if any Armenian has ever taken this name. I'm getting baptized in the Armenian Church on the 14th so if they let/ask me to take a baptismal name maybe I'll start going by that.
Congratulations on your Christening. My son is getting his this coming Saturday as well.

And would you mind sharing with us what your little zoravars name is?
For the first time in more than 600 years, Armenia is free and independent, and we are therefore obligated
to place our national interests ahead of our personal gains or aspirations.
Do you find it as a bad thing, like, disgraceful towards the Armenian race when you change your name?
It all depends on what your goal is. Do you want to stay in Otarastan or do you (not just you, but anyone) want to move back home? If you plan to stay in the diaspora, change your name and assimilate. However, if you have serious plans to move home I would say it would be disgraceful.
No, I go to Sts. Sahag and Mesrob. My father says I'm not supposed to go in your church because they're all a bunch of Tashnag Marxist revolutionaries.
My real name is Hovsep, in papers it's Joseph, since I was born in lebanon and was easier for arabs to write and spell. Now I go by Joe (work) or Hovsep (family)
