Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged

    Redrawing the Middle East- Blood Borders

    A relatively unknown map of the Middle East, NATO-garrisoned Afghanistan, and Pakistan has been circulating around strategic, governmental, NATO, policy and military circles since mid-2006. It has been causally allowed to surface in public, maybe in an attempt to build consensus and to slowly prepare the general public for possible, maybe even cataclysmic, changes in the Middle East. This is a map of a redrawn and restructured Middle East identified as the “New Middle East.”




    Note: The following map was prepared by Lieutenant-Colonel Ralph Peters. It was published in the Armed Forces Journal in June 2006, Peters is a retired colonel of the U.S. National War Academy. (Map Copyright Lieutenant-Colonel Ralph Peters 2006).

    Although the map does not officially reflect Pentagon doctrine, it has been used in a training program at NATO's Defense College for senior military officers. This map, as well as other similar maps, has most probably been used at the National War Academy as well as in military planning circles.

    While it's nice that someone thought to give us some more land, i think the overall idea of this map is idiotic, the only way to achieve this is through blood shed. But totally ignoring that fact right now, in the spirit of this "new middle east" here's a link to a blank map you can edit to create your own messed up/better version of the middle east with or without regards to things that actually matter then upload and share with the rest of us

    we know this map, it has already been published two years ago in the special issue on the occasion of the astag newspaper 80th anniversary. I'm sceptical of it's realization but if you look well ararat is included in the new armenia, but not kars, ardahan etc, and still there is no direct access to the sea

      Ararat's fine but i'd rather have access to the sea if i had to choose one. As for the rest of the map, i don't get why Saudi Arabia should be divided as well as other things

        Its a completely retarded map with the only aim being to Balkanize the middle east so that these small, petty states can be more easily conquered by outside forces (namely the west).

        Some people in neocon circles actually think this guy is smart... he couldn't even figure out what to do with the West Bank

          i forgot where it went but when i found this the first time it was on a Turkish blog site and they were obviously pissed about it so they had a World divides up USA contest, some of the maps were pretty funny actually. but the contest gave me the idea to leave the link for the blank map at the bottom for anyone to edit and upload, I'm sure there are more intelligent people on here than the guy who drew that map

            Armenia is not "gaining" land that much. It looks like we lose Artsakh and Azerbaijan becomes a major regional power, much more than it is now. This map is obviously intended to serve Western interests - just look at who gets the land. The Kurds, Sunnis, Shias, the Baloch, all "tribes" that the West doesn't have to worry about too much while major powers like Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, etc. lose land. This map ignores reality. What BS.

              even though I do not take this map seriously, I think if there were any serious attempt by the west to make this a reality it would backfire much like every other attempt made in the mid-east, etc.
