  • Turks and Armenians seem to have a lot differences.

Both are different ethnic groups, duh.
Different language and religion, and so on.
But what could we possibly have incommon? I mean Turks came to Anatolia roughly 1000 years ago, I mean, we could propably have lot more incommon than we think.
To be honest, I don't know much about Armenian culture. All I ever researched about it was about Mythology and Ancient-Medieval history, and I do not excel on that subject either. But I'm asking about the culture we have today.
As far as I'm concerned, we both eat Lahmacun, but that's one of the few things I know.

Holy xxxx, what about stupidy? It looks like we have much more common than lahmacun.

By the way, lahmacun is not orginally Turkish food. Turks learnt it from kurds at last 30 year with kurdish immigration to western cities.

It's actually Arabic in origin. In Turkey, it originated in the southern border areas with Syria and Iraq, and then spread out from there over the last 30 years.

It's actually Anatolian in origin... which is why its spread out over the entire region of Armenia, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine (the land hijacked by Israeli's), Iraq, Iran, Syria, Georgia, etc.
