Armenia needs more orchards, which will employ more people
and it'll bring more profits. I mean their is so much land in Armenia
that is being put to waste.

Allow me to rephrase.

Western Armenia,currently part of Turkey, is barely used by Turkey. The same question comes up just like when you asked "Why does Azerbaijan need Nakhichevan?" but in a different way, "Why does Turkey need Western Armenia?"

Basically Turkey is not using Western Armenia.
