Well the difference betvin "modern" turks and Germans is following:
1. Willy Brant went to Tel-Aviv and kneeled on Holocaust victims memorial asking forgivness for crimes committed by "not modern" Germans.
2. There are a Holocaust museums and memorials in Germany.
3. The Holocaust is included in obligatory school programs.

When this all will become reality for Armenian Genocide in Turkey than we will talk about "modern" turks.
But for now all I can offer to "modern" turks is a big banana.

I'm not expecting you to agree on the turkish denial junk, but what i'm saying is modern turkish people are not mass killers, that has nothing to do with sth happened in the past. Germans killed many many xxxs but can we tell now that modern Germans are mass killers? no. That's the same thing even though the Turkish people deny. I'm not making a turc propaganda here.

4. If offending “turkishness” is a crime in turkey than promoting “Germanness” is a crime in Germany.

AND MOST IMPORTANT: DENYING HOLOCAUST IS A VERY SERIOUS CRIME IN GERMANY!

When this all will become reality for Armenian Genocide in Turkey than we will talk about "modern" turks.
But for now all I can offer to "modern" turks is a big banana.

despina, pogroms against Armenians happened in azerbadjan less than 20 years ago..................many of those turcs are alive and in positions of power.

I agree. There are MANY killers, racists and deniers among you though ... starting from the gov.

As regards the turcs of today not being mass killers, ask Armenians from Sumgait, baku etc.ok?

yea, actually that's what i was thought in Bolis. I'd like to learn the facts.I'm gonna read it on forum. But as a person whom has lived among the Turks, I don't say that they are bad people. Let's agree on those. We can't judge the whole Turkish people for what has done in the past. Turkish people today are not mass killers, I can say. In the past they might have done evil stuff I admit but that doesn't mean every Turk is evil. ok?
