Heh I was reading this post and found it very interesting. I also didn't see how many posts there were at first and figured the person who started the thread was still in need of hand writing samples, but there are plenty of Armenian submissions that are far better than my sample would be (I am still learning to write, read, and speak).

You should post your own Cris, we need as many samples as possible. People's handwriting in Armenian is rare to find on the net.

hello, I wonder if one of you could help me translate a name from english into Armenian. I have what I think it is, but I want to be 100 % sure!!!

Algo que es divertido y me gusta hacer es escribir en español con letras armenias, aunque sea para ti mismo, ahi vas ganando mas practica.

Ya That's true =) La cuestion es que no tengo con quien practicar aqui, por eso es un poco mas complicado xD solo practico algunas palabras en el chat o por msn al hablar con mi familia, pero con letras latinas no armenias xD

Ya That's true =) La cuestion es que no tengo con quien practicar aqui, por eso es un poco mas complicado xD solo practico algunas palabras en el chat o por msn al hablar con mi familia, pero con letras latinas no armenias xD

Gracias =) No tengo muchos problemas al pronunciar pero si al tratar de escribir! a penas voy por la letra 17 y ya estoy asi con las E y las T xD Ya he entendido las explicaciones pero creo que necesito práctica para poder usarlas en las palabras adecuadas. I don't know if to write Trchun or Tas with the first T or with the other one lol

Oh pues te deseo suerte!, siempre es dificil aprender algo tan drastico como un nuevo alfabeto y poder usarlo correctamente, solo ganas mejoria con mucha mucha practica.

La letra Տ տ en el western es el equivalente a la D d, la D normal como en el español en 'dado'.

En realidad, algunos sonidos del armenio son muy parecidos a los del español, asi que no vas a tener muchos problemas en pronunciar correctamente

No te preocupes, no me confundiste. Ahora tengo otra pregunta, aquella letra que me enseñaste al principio Տ տ, a que letra equivale en el western Armenian?
