No problem mate. Can you scan these century-old letters and upload them into this thread Diranakir? I am very curious as to how the handwriting was about a 100 years ago. Of course, if you believe these letters are personal, I do not want to press you about it but if there is no problem, it would be highly appreciated and would enrich the Internet of Armenian handwriting.

As for anyone else reading this thread, I encourage you to upload your own handwritings I know we have a fresh wave of new members since this thread was created.

Hi Federate, I appreciate your interest and will do my best to post an example of the handwriting in the near future. It's a good idea. To my untrained eye I can tell that it is a different style of handwriting than those posted on this thread, at least in the case of certain letters. Maybe a little fancier.

Armenian handwriting. I am able to read Armenian printing, but the handwriting has remained mostly out of my reach. I don't have a scanner. Although, I really do need to begin writing because I need to improve my grammer to take an Armenian proficiency exam for school. I need to write a 3-page essay in Armenian, and I absolutely have to pass.

What about a camera? Siggie uploads all her images by simply taking a picture.
