The loosers of WWI never lost even one soldier in the WWII battlefields. Turkey remained neutral until almost the end of the war when they joined the allies so they can be associated with the winners. What they did do was steal all the German looted gold that was kept in their position. The Allies tried diplomatically very hard (7 years) to have Turkey return the gold to its owners but no chance in hell. Turkey even tried to have the English bank melt tons of coin and bars with no success.

No one denies there were Armenians in the Nazi army-- It doesn't mean they believed Nazi ideology. Its like saying everyone in the Red Army was a die-hard Communist. Lets move past the 12-year old notions of reality being only in black and white.

There were a few thousand Armenians serving in the German army, but over 500,000 Armenians served the Red Army during WWII, and 300,000 of them DIED. This doesn't even count the number of Armenians who served in other Allied armies. Armenians had more total casualties during WWII than the United States did (US had around 290,000 casualties). Armenians lost over 10% of their TOTAL population fighting Nazis.

Even IF most Armenians fought for Germany, so what? You have no proof of anything. You just have old wives tales and are relying solely on geocities and word-of-mouth from your "Armenian friends".

Look on the bright side Turkoglu... every village needs an idiot.

More than half a million Armenians fought in the Red Army and half of them fell on the battlefield to liberate Europe from the Nazis.
