Seeking help on Armenian music
I am English and do not know any Armenian so I came to this site to ask a question and possibly get some help. Can someone point me in a direction where I can find a short, approx 1-4 minute Armenian music piece (mp3) that I can download and would be appropriate as an introduction to a memorial slide show I am creating for the family of an Armenian friend.
The show will be a depiction of his life from arriving in Canada as an immigrant on the Queen Frederica til his death.The show will have tracks of his favorite N.American style music which leaned toward country and the 60's and 70's era. All his friends and family knew him as a man who always remembered his roots with pride so I wanted to inject a piece of Armenian music into the show to honor that fact.It would also be helpful if an overview of the significance or meaning of the music is.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
