Not alot of people would agree with you. If you have Armenian blood in you, then you Are Armenian.
Just bc you don't like Kim you don't say she's not Armenian.

Neither Cher or Kim are Armenian. Being Armenian is not something you get from just having Armenian blood. A person with full Armenian blood can very well not be Armenian. Being Armenian is about growing up as an Armenian, with Armenian culture values, language, with Armenian family, Armenian church, etc. It's about having a Armenian mindset and having the Armenian culture be native to you. That is why Cher or Kim, or any other person like them are not Armenian, but American or whatever country they grew up in. I don't care how much Armenian blood they have.

I agree with you 100% but all these Armenian publications keep putting Kim on a pedastel as the most famous Armenian..... People who are not Armenian associate Kardashian with Armenians, shes created alot of stereotypes, so I like to pay attention to what is being said

Thats why I care, after seeing Kim being praised in alot of Armenian publications it was nice to hear Cher say she knows nothing about them instead of mentionining how she likes them cause their Armenian which is why she was asked the question.

Was curious as to what she thought about them. I'm overjoyed at her comments. Kim must be mad since she loves to say cher looks like her and cher is armenian, blah blah, blah


So what does she think of the pop culture icons of 2010? In a new interview with 20/20, the singer-actress admits that she doesn't understand the appeal of reality stars like Snooki and Kim Kardashian.

"I kind of like people that do something, that are not just famous for -- I'm not sure what," the reclusive star tells ABC News anchor Cynthia McFadden. (Watch the clip below!)

"What I know about the Kardashians you could put on the head of a pin and still have room for the Lord's prayer," Cher says when asked about the fame-hungry family. "I know nothing about them."
