Re: Do you attend your local Armenian church?
despite it holding an emotional & spiritual place in my heart (especially the music), i very rarely attend church other than for the standard annual social gatherings and out of respect to my family/parents. my motivation to continue my ties with the church remains in it being a link to the armenian community. i make donations to the church despite my lack of interest in their doctrine and practices. however, as long as it holds as a place where armenians can congregate and enrich and maintain their heritage, i will continue to support it... and lay aside my personal opinion of such institutions.
