Awwweee... are you still sore that the mighty British Empire couldn't take control of a couple tribal cave dwellers in Afghanistan

From now on when people ask me my ethnicity, I tell them I'm Palestinian and I throw rocks at J3ws. That usually shuts them up.

Yeah well I tell people I'm a J3w and I throw rockets at Palestinians and that usually doesn't draw a response either!

For those of you who didn't answer, which Europeans (if any) have you mistaken for Armenian?

          Sicilians:

Nobody does it better than the Sicilians. they love their food, their wine and their children. Massive family get together this Easter Sunday, hope the sun shines. I'm planning to love the wine.

          Georgians:

          Azeris (sorry):

To quote some of my male friends, "es lriv verjn er", Mos jan! ... Duuuddeeee~!

While it's true that some Azeris look a bit like us, I can usually tell them apart by that wild look in their eyes-- Armenians have a different look in their eyes. (..and I'm not even being biased, it's just truth based on my own experience )

Do you think Georgians have a different look in their eyes than Armenians?

I sometimes have difficulty telling Armenians from Lebanese.. but then I've had others tell me there is a clear difference.

I've been to Lebanon and you could tell the difference between Armenians and Lebanese Arabs. Eyes and noses are the main difference, often times skin colour too.

Before I get attacked from 8208 sides for these statements , let me preface my answer by saying that as a general rule and in my own personal opinion , yes, I do think that there's a vast difference between Armenian eyes and pretty much all others. It's also a huge matter of perception and for me personally happens on a very instinctual, intuitive level. I unwittingly distill difference to that one particular component of their features before I'm really able to catch myself doing it. Clearly, others look for and find difference... well, differently.

Do you have any picture that demonstrates the distinctive eyes?

It's hard to explain, but I know most strangers are intrigued by my eyes. Many will agree there is something in the eyes of Armenians. It is not merely passion, sadness, beauty, kindness, deepness, wisdom because you can find those things in many other people as well. There is, however, something in Armenian eyes that is impossible to put in words. It can't always be captured in pictures either, there is a sense of being that needs to be felt.
