  • Question about Armenian Font

Does anybody know where I can get this font? It's rather popular among official government documents and so forth, but I don't know the name of the font used.

I have the same font in my font folder but it is called Dallak Bold, "Generated by Murad Ofset, Version 1.0, September 1993". Which suggests it originated in Turkey. What date is on yours?

Though this says its designer is a Pavel Dallakian

My 1993 Turkish version is probably an early unauthorised conversion from the original postscript font, maybe used for printing Armenian books and newspapers in Istanbul. http://users.freenet.am/~vm/Pavel.html "1989 - Institute of Ancient Manuscripts - Matenadaran. First in Armenia PostScript European-style Armenian fonts DallakTimes and DallakHelvetica."
