    .

Politics is not about the pursuit of morality nor what's right or wrong
Its about self interest at personal and national level often at odds with the above.
Great politicians pursue the National interest and small politicians personal interests

This is the report by the defence minister of Greece to parliament.

Its an emotional speech how they demanded the destruction of the country by virtually making the country defenceless by cuts in the military
among other additional cut in the economy including shipping etc..

Sorry its in Greek. If you find the text in English please post.

        STATUS REPORT
        *******************************
        Throughout our millennial history
        our ablest men
        (from Byzantine emperors and generals
to Mikoyan in our own days)
        have served alien interests;
which means we, the people, have been
        at the mercy of second-raters
willing and eager to engage in treason
and betrayal to advance their own careers.
        *
To speak of Armenian values, worldview,
        and character is to speak
        of a non-existent black hat
in a windowless room at midnight.
        *
What have we learned from our blunders?
        Only to repeat them.
        *
You think I engage in pessimism and negativism?
        Relax! No harm done.
For every negative statement I make
there will be two, even twenty-two,
        far better men than myself,
willing and eager to contradict me.

^^^ Funny how they justify the smaller UK union yet they are not ready to be part of a larger one.
Why would they, when they have indirect control of the Commonwealth of around 150 million people and continents of resources that would justify their “quantitative easing”.

“British Eurosceptics (who wish for the UK to leave the European Union) have expressed a preference for a relationship “similar in nature and goals to the EU" between the same four countries: the CANZUK Union."

Smaller countries with self sustained economies like Greece should never join larger manipulative entities like the Germanic controlled unions. They will be forced to become the supplemental feeding income of aging Northern Europeans. They sure know how to slave people.
