    ON REPETITION
    ****************************
Don’t ask why I repeat myself.
Ask instead, is what I say worth repeating?
    *
    After our famous Earthquake
did you hear a single Armenian repeating
    the well-know architectural maxim:
“Earthquakes don’t kill people; buildings do!”
    *
The average Armenian is brought up to believe
he knows better because he is better.
What is the answer to that empty boast?
    Obviously, the well-known Socratic maxim:
“I know nothing because I am an ignoramus.”
    *
However, if you feel like bragging,
and you happen to be an Armenian-American,
you may brag about the fact that
you are not a presidential candidate.

    THIS & THAT
    *************************
Our blunders cannot be set right
because they are committed by idiots
who pretend to be not just smart
    but super smart.
    *
The root of all our problems:
    negative IQ.
    *
    My only concession to fashion:
    ripped jeans.

      Re: on repetition

We all agree that Mount Ararat is the quintessential Armenian symbol
with which every Armenian identifies himself.
But Mount Ararat has been a captive of the Turks
for a number of centuries now.
Perhaps something very similar could be said
      about our identity and voki.
